A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
First time out for the year. Found a little pond, bixby pond, that was free from ice. Spent a couple of hours fishing from the shore near the dam. Only had one bite on a chrome and blue rattle trap. Sure feels good to be casting again. Anyone else been able to to get out on the water yet?

spinnerbait rigging
On KVD's spinnerbait tactics video he says he only uses a trailer in muddy water and when he does he often uses a grub with the tail alsways hanging down.

Megastrike - Cavitron - Evolution ????
Cavitron is a great buzzbait. It's on par with any other one that i have used and also has it's own unique sound which gives me more variety when night fishing

New Hampshire Bassin' 2008
Once the weather warms up there is no place nicer to be. But the winters kill me. I've been trying to convince my wife to move farther south, but no luck so far.

And a over the counter warrenty.. ;D BTW my local dicks has them on sale for 24 bucks At that price i'm going to have to head down to dick's and see if my store has the same sales. I'm looking for another beater rod to leave at my dad's cabin

Lightniong rods
having fished both, between the convergence and lightning rods. I would choose the convergence. It has better sensitivity in my opinion.

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
The Fishin fever has gotten so bad that i've been tying large hookless rubber worms and been practicing flippin and pitchin them at my 7 month old son. He loves trying to grab them on the carpet

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
I also just came back from a trip to Bass Pro shops. Man that store is nice to have within driving distance. Got a lot of cool little things that you can't get in the stores around here. Plus i like to hold and look at something before i buy it. I've never been a big fan of internet shopping. Overall a pretty good day. I got to go to BPS and then had to go to IKEA for the wife. ;D

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
Yakfish....the senko's, ikas, and jigs should work well. I'd also try some type of small jerk bait, like a husky jerk. In jerk baits and crank baits i've been getting hits on perch patterns pretty consistantly. hope this helps

College, Fishing, and the works. Need some advice.
i agree with starting as a non-boater. You can find out if you really want to fish tourneys that way, without putting up alot of capitol. I thought i would enjoy fishing tourneys, so i started as a non-boater. After a few tourneys i decided it wasn't for me. So i went out and bought a boat that fit my fishing needs and not one that would be great for tournament fishing. I saved myself alot of money by doing this, and also was able to learn about what fishing really means to me....a chance to relax

it's already been stated, but a jt paintball mask with fogless lenses will cost you less and do the same thing. And you can just get them at most walmarts

A Shoutout for NH Fishermen!!!
Had the same problem today. Only went out for a couple of hours but all i caught was one small bass and a yellow perch. The water was 71 degrees and the day was really warm. I would have figured that the bass would have been up shallow. Guess i was wrong. There's always next time

JDC skip-n-pop
Thanks for the info Brad. Do they have a similiar action to a balsa popper, or is it something different because they are plastic?

Help? Little ponds in the fall...
could be location as well. I'm up northeast in new hampshire and the places i've been most consistantly hitting fish on are points. The fish have been real shallow, but almost always on some type of point. I've also had to slow down my presentation a little. just letting a senko sit for an extra 10 seconds seems to be helping
