I think everyone is tough enough not to get their toes stepped on, but I do think the league last year is the cause of your lack of response. I played last year and before committing to you was waiting to see if those guys started a league again. I have to defend my title .

I've found a several that I like, and I'm ready to start negotiating on several. I don't want to make a completley unrealistic offer and I don't want to make an offer they say they will take. I have no idea how much mark-up is typically in a dealers posted price. From ya'lls experience whats a resonable expectation to buy a boat for that the dealer has listed at 33,000? I'm talking before TT&L and all that good stuff. Thanks

I just did the opposite this season and went exclusively from 15lb CXX to braid on a one reel. I like the braid but the CXX is going to cast mcuh better. However you line memory is going to go up by about 4X worse than you can possibly imagine. CXX is great line and will give you some great alternatives to braid. But you must go out right now and buy some KVD Line and Lure conditioner. Spray it on the night before you go fishing and when you are done, and you will experience almost none of the drawbacks of CXX. I was reluctant to switch from CXX b/c of all the upsides of this line despite the memory drawbacks. Once I started using KVD Line and Lure all drawbacks were eliminated.

I really like the rage tail. Probably my Strike King bias since I love their Lil' Mr. Money spinnerbait, but i've never been a huge frog guy. Until this spring when I was catching fish on the Rage Tail 6 weeks before most people were even throwing topwater. It is a good bait.

Thats a great looking rod . I hope Jason didn't give you to much trouble about it not being a G-Loomis. If i'm not mistaken I'm the first one to have had one on his boat. Back in March though all we fished was crankbaits so I didn't get to use it. He couldn't say much though since I was the first one to have a revo on his boat, and he ended up switching over. I don't understand why people get so upset with him changing his mind. I'm not a Favre lover or hater. He is just another guy to me so I can be biased. The way I see it football is the only job the guy ever had and he's freaking retiring in his 40's. Thats a pretty young retirement age. I hear of people in their 60's retiring getting bored and going back to work. If he wants to come back thats his business. If Green Bay doesn't want him or has already moved on, release him. Thats their business.

emti56, I'm not bashing your boat at all. I thought this was a very cool boat and still do. But with a few people telling me they think I'll be unhappy with a 2 stroke, a few more saying think I'll end up being disappointed if I don't go bigger than 150 and the boat having no warranty I think I'm going to just going to go new, or used with warranty, and bump up price range to 200-225hp boats. You have a nice boat though and if I knew for sure I wouldn't end up regretting not going bigger this boat would be in my driveway. Socalbassmaster I'm not married to a Skeeter at all. I'm considering all boats. I've come to the conclusion that buying your first boat is a pain in the butt. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a process less. I know very little aobut boats so that creates anxiety that i'm missing something or about to get hosed. Some people say a 115 will be fine others say noway less than a 200. Some say Ranger is the best others say they are rough and blow. Some say Nitros blow others say they are the best value. So I can't even get good info from folks that own boats. Top that off with my fear that if I can even figure out how to operate this thing I'm going to tear it up from doing it incorrectly, and I haven't been a very happy camper the last several weeks. I really hope having a boat is worth it.

I don't know after talking to a couple of people I'm getting worried about the 2 stroke motor and if the 150 is enough motor. More importantly its out of warranty. I still thinks its a nice boat at a good deal, but maybe not the deal for me.

I've had some big blow-ups small fish encounters, but I would like to see the 3" fish that could rock the boat. Thats the definition of little mans syndrome.

I'm not saying we would lose by any means, but invading Iran tommorow would be disasterous. If it gets to the point that action is necessary it will almost certainly be a big air campaign and no troops. Isreal ain't doing anything big without us either. I may be wrong, but I think that is b/c you are using line that long ago would of been in the trash can without this great product. The line is old and needs to be replaced, but L&L is bringing it back to life. If you aren't already, try spraying it 24hrs prior to fishing and see if that helps a little.
