  1. Looks like ya'll had a good time. Thats a heck of a fish your nephew caught.
  2. hmmmmm, I have some thinking to do. Anyone else used CXX and Ultra-soft and agree with RW that toughness is equal.
  3. Can you get more for that price. I'm so happy with mine I would buy several more for that price. I don't need any rods by any means, but that is a steal.
  4. Roadwarrior, I know you are an ex P-Line CXX user. Are you saying that Yo-Zuri is more abrasion resistant than CXX? If so, that is impressive. One of the main reasons I have stuck with CXX despite hearing numerous praises of Yo-Zuri, is how tough CXX is. In the end I always decided dealing with memory was worth the toughness.
  5. Voted. Come on guys. This site has 15,000 + members and 450 votes is winning this thing. We should be embarassed.
  6. If I was just to look at a senko i'm fairly certain that I would say that thing sucks and noway its worth the price. You are rightI can't argue that there are not better options b/c i've never fished the tubo rig. The previous time is was posted on here though it was b/c a professional angler was crediting it for winning a tournament. All the rigs you mentioned sound like great ways to catch bedding fish. The difference is there is no place for the bait to hide. The thing tubo rig might suck, but to say its not worth the price without ever even holding it in your hand is crazy. For all YOU know the thing is made out of gold.
  7. cool pic. Did you snap that yourself or did you find it somewhere?
  8. Congratulations. That is some serious hair.
  9. Really, have you tried them.

http://www.break.com/index/one-legged-inspirational-little-leaguer.html One of the coolest things i've ever seen. Reminds me of a recent post where a challenged kid plays baseball and the other players let him "win" and Alpster pointed out that it might not be the best thing.
  11. I have a lot of family in Brownwood. I will keep everyone involved in my prayers.
  12. All the baits mentioned are great baits and this is going to sound crazy to a lot of people on here but I really like Academy's H2O express square billed crankbait. All I have used have caught fish, ran good out of box and deflected of cover well. Plus, at 2.99 you can stock your box in a single trip and not worry on the rare ocassion you hang one up. Plus, they have a nice color selection.
  13. Your level of BS at such a young age scares and impresses me at the same time, sir
  14. Welcome
  15. If you think you will like light, the carrot is the way to go. People can say what they want, but nobody can argue about the lightness of this rod.
  16. Awesome pictures.
  17. The Matt, That bling on the handle of the Sol looks real. Is it, or did you photo shop it in. If you photo shopped that I know I guy in upper management for Crest. I'll give him your contact info.
  18. I rarely drag mine. Usually pitch them, hop em a couple a times and reel in.
  19. Has anyone ever wondered, or know what the scoop is as to why Babe Winkleman endorses these. The couple of pseudo positive things i've heard in this thread are the first i've ever heard about the bait. He seem respected and established enough to stay away from this kind of stuff.
  20. T-rig them with as little weight as possible. Great flipping and pitching bait if your into that. Start with the babies so you don't lose confidence that your bait is too big. If you haven't caught fish with these you haven't given them a fair shake or you've fished them when they just weren't biting.
  21. Welcome . You have plenty of the right stuff to get started. The BaitMonkey won''t agree though .
  22. Nice fish. Congratulations.
