Skippin'
How many times do you skip a dock before you move on to the next one? If you catch one outta there, do you skip it again?

Pressured Water Presentations
I live in St. Paul, Minnesota. A lot of the lakes here in the metro are just pounded on by fishermen. When I go out, we seldom catch more than 5bass person. Yesterday, I was out on a catch and release only lake that sees decent action. I flipped, pitched, skipped...nothing. Tried 12 foot stumps..nothing. Should I be playing the finese game?? My question is: What are your go to lures in pressured waters? Depth? Colors? Thank you!

Lunker Depth
I know that most of my question depends on seasonal patterns but I want a general answer. Where have most of your Lunkers been caught as far as water depth goes? 0'-3'? 4'-10'? 10'+? Thanks!

Flukes?
I just started fishing plastics and I'm having amazing success. I'm fishing Wisconsin by the way. I learned the hard way too. Friday night, first time using plastics. Missed my first 6 hits. What the heak?? I was using Med spinning and had a tight drag. Then my friend said count to 4. Wow that was hard too do. Thump thump..1...2...reel up the slack...3....4!!! BOOM FISH ON!! Haven't missed one since friday night and fished the past 3 days. Hope that helps. Oh, I always use a 3EWG at minimum for plastics.

Choosing a lure
Okay guys, I'm going fishing this weekend and I'd like your advice on what to throw. My conditions are: stained water, about 40degrees, it's been raining, not much vegitation growth due to cold water. I have two rods, baitcaster 6'6" MH, spinning 6'6" M. Questionable on the # of docks in yet.. I was thinkin jerkbaits, possible dock skip, and jig. Thanks!!

crankbaits
I use Rapalas. They are balsa wood so they float up. When I hit a weed or a rock I pause and let the lure float up off the cover. Then I crank back down until I hit the cover again. I had very good sucess doing this last fall in thick weeds using a DT4. Good luck!

Flipping stick/reel/line
Revo S is awesome for pitching.

Finally Perfect
Yes, I am using 30 lb braid. Yes, an over spin is different than a backlash. What was happening was that the line would come out fast, then the spool would rotate over the line and the line would "under wrap." The lure would then stop in mid flight, and fall strait down. I'm using a 1/2oz All-Terrain jig. Power Pro 30 lb braid, Shimano 6'6" MH XF Clarus, and a Abu Garcia Revo S.

Finally Perfect
After a full summer of frustrating over spins (NOT A BACKLASH) i finally have it figured out. The reel used to stop the lure in mid flight and fall straight down. Well, I set the brakes so it has only 2 on (one across from the other). I set the lure brake so the lure needs to be shaken a little to have it continue to drop. Now, I can cast perfect!!! No over spins, and I don't even have to thumb the spool. I've been casting in the yard latly and can't wait for the water. I love my REVO S!!

rapala question
for cranks and jerks, i always tie a UNI to a snap. works great. I only use the UNI knot actually.

Terminator Titanium spinnerbaits....
I've noticed. Last summer, on two trips I lost 7Blades total, and 2 swivels. I might also switch to a cheaper brand..

Pickerel problem--too many lures gone
I use 30lb Braid and I catch a lot of Pike on spinnerbaits and jigs. Never had a problem. I'm using 30lb Power Pro.

Which lures?
I voted Jigs. I think they are one of the most versitle baits out there. They catch fish too!
