Baitcaster Newbie
For that I would go with at least a 7ft MH Fast or Xfast with 20lb flouro. don't worry about the line size. The reel will handle 20lb without issue, the reference to 12lb is only to show how much line it holds.

That gear ratio is a good all around setup, up to you to decide what you want to use it for then get a rod to match. .

P90X2
The stick with it is the problem, I know I need to do something being middle aged and out of shape is not a good thing. Hard part is making the time to keep doing it, or not just giving up.....

Great Wife !
My wife could care less about going fishing, but has no issues with me going and encourages me to go. I was higlighting my clubs tourney schedule for the year so I can sign up and pay. Showed my wife when I was done, her only comment was there was not enough color on the page. Ended up adding a two day away tourney and prefishing 2 days before the tourney starts.

Getting A Dog
Rescue an Italian Greyhound, I live in a townhouse and we have two of them. Both of them are around 18 pounds, fun dogs to take out and let them run. In the house they are happy when they have a blanket to get under on a bed or couch.

Big East Coast Snow Storm For March 6
Accuweather started posting info on the potential for this storm but the forecasted temps are in the 40's, hard to get a lot of snow at those temps.

New Sponsors: Seaguar & Optima Batteries
Outstanding!!! Tried a few fluoro lines and was not happy with them. Tried Abrazx on my baitcasters, Invizx on spinning due to recommendations on this site. Both lines have performed extremely well, the search ended.

Maryland's Who's who!
Really need to get out fishing, so heading out tomorrow just have no idea where. Black Hills is open but may do lower Potomac to get a run in my friends boat. Just not sure how crapped out the river is right now. Anyone have any thoughts on where to go?

Maryland's Who's who!
Personally I would consider running down to the end of Aquia, there are some large grass beds down there. Fish any emergent grass you find.

Maryland's Who's who!
Its a prop motor, most of the Upper Potomac is way to shallow to trust running a prop. There a multiple places you can wade clear across the river. Even down in Montgomery County (Whites Ferry) sections are very shallow. When I fish with a friend in his jet boat you can feel the water pressure pushing the floor of the boat up from being squeezed between the river bottom and the bottom of the boat out in the middle. Great fishing though.

N A S C A R's Brightest Star?
MCS, can't argue you with those points. I much preferred the CART days were there were multiple cars/engines. But it got expensive, and when the split happened Tony George dumped a ton of family money into the IRL plus they had Indy. The CART group did not have someone to dump money into them so they went away. It is kind of funny after the merger they went back to the even split oval/street/road course schedule with turbo engines.

N A S C A R's Brightest Star?
She is a media darling, hence why the results for any race she ran last year running in the scrolling updates showed the top 3 or 5 finishers and Danica. Those of us that enjoying racing, which Nascar is not the pinnacle of or even close but that is a whole different topic, would like to believe it is about the racing. However, like everything else its a business and Danica makes people money. Just one thing, I saw a couple remarks about her being in Champ Car. When she left the Toyota Atlantic series she went to IRL before they merged back together. And I would not push off her accomplishments in her European racing days. She was the first American in a long time to finish second in that series. To much American racing talent is lost due to the money being in going around in circles.

Maryland's Who's who!
Kind of surprised there were no takers when there were running the heated water. Still jealous you got out, hoping to get out myself sometime soon. The semester is starting to wind down. Need to get out, first tourney of the year is the end of March. Don't want to head into that without having some time on the water prior to a tourney. This coming weekend is my daughters 15th birthday and the in-laws are coming up so there won't be any fishing. Did get all of my licenses a couple days ago so I am ready.

Best 20 Lb Flouro Line
A vote for Abrasx, and KVD L&L conditioner. Tried a few different flouro's, including some other ones mentioned in this thread, and did not like them. Put 20lb Abrasx on my jig rod and loved it. Switch almost all of my rods over to Abrasx or Invizx (Invizx for the lighter line on spinning gear)

Culling Techniques
I use a set of culling balls which has dials so you can put the bass's weight on it. But for time sake I just put an estimated length, when its time to call I do a quick comparison to do my cull. Worked for me so far...

What Concert Have You Liked The Most?
An outdoor show which had 8 bands on two stages during the day leading up to a 4 band main stage. Had pit passes for the main stage of Five Finger Death Punch, Lamb of God, Rob Zombie and Korn. Had a great time leading up to the main stage, once main stage started being in the pit for the first three bands was great. Each put on an awesome show, the only bad part was finishing with Korn. After the first three bands Korn was a disappointment and I left halfway thru their show. But that did not ruin the whole show, the other parts were two good.

Sickest Corvette Ever !!!
The chopped end is classic Vette, but what I am referring to is the corners are sharp on the c7 and it has squared lights. Prior vettes had rounded corners and round lights. With this being said, would I love to have a day at the track with one...oh yeah. Just have to program out the 1st to 4th shift if that is still present, that is really annoying.

Sickest Corvette Ever !!!
The part I don't get about the back of the C7 is the rest of the car is a sleek flowing design. Then you get to the back and its a box, it does not match the rest of the car. I can understand trying to link it to the Camaro but not in a way that is radically different then the rest of the car.
