  1. I need a 9" blemished lunker punker in delta shiner or chartreuse shad, hint hint. Or some 8" huddlestons, or a bunch of 3/4 ounce football jigs in brown/purple.
  2. Cmon now Fourbizz, you don't have to act tough. I saw you at Folsom with your pink and purple combo. lol. caught
  3. Most blanks are black, or dark. I don't see how that doesn't match with green. Oh well, green is one of my favorite colors. And the color that the curado e is, almost matches my trucks color.
  4. Thanks for agreeing. These people are missing out on the thrill of getting a bass out of cover in less than 5 seconds, haha.
  5. I thought the gold on the citica d made it look cheap. And the curado looks awesome in green. The citica looks great too.
  6. Totally forgot, your fancy quantum reels have no nuts, haha.
  7. HAHA. That made my morning. Very funny.
  8. Are you serious matt or just playing a early april fools joke? lol
  9. I didn't see that part. I can understand that though. Even though I would still use braid, I am sure he can get away with heavy mono.
  10. You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. You acting like I am being racist towards somebody. Why do you think top frog guys like Bobby Barack and Dean Rojas use braid? I don't know anybody that would use a frog in slop with mono. I can understand using mono for open water, but not in slop. But whatever. I rather not take the chance of losing a fish because of my line.
  11. Well, that is just my preferences. Everybody has their own. I would never even think about using mono while fishing a frog in slop. The stuff I fish a frog over is very thick, not some lily pads. Yeah, you could use a shorter rod, but I like long rods. Just a preference like I said.
  12. That is weird. I had two and neither of them had any problems.
  13. You'll want a 7'6" or longer rod to go frogging. Right now I use a 765 Powell, which is a MH. Works great, but I am thinking about going up to the 766 to get more power to get them out of those weeds. Gotta have a good backbone to keep them up out of the weeds. Braid is mandatory. You don't know how many people I've seen miss fish because they are too ignorant to use braid. I would use at least 65lb if you plan on fishing on any type of slop. I also like a light rod, because it gets tiring walking the frog all day.
  14. thats the way i see it. i dont care about bait ethics or anything, three qualities determine if i'll buy a bait: good price, good quality, catches fish. So, how would you feel if you came up a with a original bait, and I come along and copy it and sell it and my bait out sells yours. Wouldn't feel very good would it? Usually the rip-offs either don't swim correctly, or fall apart easily. Everyone has their own opinion though, and I must respect that.
  15. Alot of people don't support Reaction Strike because they copy other designs and claim they don't.

Holy cow, how deep of water do you plan on fishing? Haha. Nice baits.
  17. Crappie, fly fishing for trout, stripers, and smallmouth. Crappie are a blast because if you catch one, you'll usually catch alot more.
  18. Dude, I didn't tell you, Bing is my father. We eat bass every day for breakfast, lunch , and dinner! LMAO
  19. I am not too big on the catch then eat. I get disgusted for some reason haha. Anyways, that is not the reason I am into bass fishing. I am in it just for the sport. I have tried smallmouth and it is delicious breaded. but that was out of a lake in Idaho. The water is much more cleaner there. Catch and release please.
  20. Went to best buy and got a olympus digi cam for 120. And ordered some stuff from bass tackle depot for 20 percent off!
  21. Take up another hobby. I do alot of stuff besides fishing. Motocross, mountainbiking, bmxing, video games, guitar, paintball, rc cars, and skateboarding. I have enough hobbies to keep my busy when I get burnt out of fishing.

I've caught fish up to 4 pounds on the floater. Great bait.
  23. That one is pretty cool. For those of you that are into R/C I am sure you have seen it. It has two mamba max motors powering it. That is insane. It was able to push a full grown adult too!
  24. When it comes to having a rod that covers all of your needs, its nearly impossible. I have the Okuma 7'11" XH, and it does a pretty good job of working all the swimbaits I own well. The pistol grip is awesome, and provides more comfort when launching big baits. I have used anything from a baitsmith to 9" punkers on this rod and it does well. The new dark angel looks really great, but I just can't see past spending that much on a rod, when Okuma makes excellent rods for much cheaper. You also cannot beat their warranty service. I got a brand new rod for just the cost of shipping. I believe it was around 16 bucks. They may not look as flashy as the dark angels, but they get the job done. You'll eventually want to get different combos for each different swimbait you chuck. It just makes life a whole bunch easier. Plus, you won't need to re-tie so often 8-)
  25. I like to change my braid often. I can't stand it when the waxy stuff they put on it comes off. It becomes really limp and unmanageable for me.
