  1. I bought mine for 200, and it was a great buy then. Now at 170, they are a even better buy. Sensitive, light, great action. I only own a 765 right now, but I am gonna be buying more.
  2. Hands down spend the extra 10 bucks and get a Okuma. I love mine (7'11" XH). I recently broke the tip guide and called up Okuma and asked no questions, just told me to send it back with a check to pay for shipping costs. Two weeks later I had a brand new rod at my doorstep. Rod does great with Hudds, Punkers, and anything else you throw at it. Mine is paired with a Shimano Cardiff 400, which is also a great reel for the money.
  3. I would say myself. I don't really try and look like anybody.
  4. How much do you want to spend? The Citica is great, but if you can spend the money, the Revo line up is awesome! I got the SX myself and love it.
  5. A high speed reel, a Revo 7:1 reel for example, is good because you can pick up line faster and get the fish out of the cover more quickly.
  6. Speckled Trout in the Saltwater version is what I use. Produces for me! Just remember to add a feathered rear hook.
  7. At least you have caught something on it. I havent caught anything on mine yet.
  8. All I can say is wow. Haha. I'll stick with Tungsten.
  9. Mono-Trilene Big Game or P-Line CXX Flouro-Trilene 100% Braid- Power Pro
  10. Okuma XH 7' 11" rod, Shimano Cardiff 400 reel, and P-Line CXX 25lb line. I throw all my swimbaits on it. See them in my signature.
  11. Did you break it in three pieces? LOL. Thats one bug eyed bass too.
  12. To make things simple, I think the frog most people use, is Snag Proofs Bobby's Perfect Frog. Its a great frog with quality hooks and a good hook up ratio. My other favorite is Reaction Innovations Swamp Donkey. I like its skinny profile and up turned hooks. What ever you choose, make sure you be patient with the hook set!
  13. For all my froggin needs I use only braid. It provides the no stretch for extremely piercing hooksets. Also, a fast actioned, long rod would help too. Is this in open or slop type water?
  14. I can't wait to give the Space Monkey a whirl!
  15. Send that mojo to Cali!!
  16. Mono or P-Line Copoly here.

I want to get some Rincons.
  18. What size tank do you recommend for raising a bluegill? I have been wanting to get a bluegill for awhile now, but don't know where to start as far as aquarium stuff goes.
  19. My buddy (Brokeju) fishes dobyns, and I have a Powell. I like them both, but I like how the Dobyns are balanced.
  20. That is a great way to put it! It is exactly like that haha. I started out with a Ultimate Bluegill, and now have over 200 dollars worth of swimbaits.
  21. I use Double Wide Beavers, Sweet Beavers, 6 inch Senkos, etc. Pretty much anything works. I like beavers the most though. Or a jig.
  22. I really hope I can go some day. It looks like a blast. Have fun to those who are going. The public can just sit and wait until coverage gets posted online.
  23. What!!! Dang man, you are killing me here. I am so jealous!
  24. I have a 7'11" XH and I love it! I had to send it because the tip guide broke, but I am dying without it. I have used everything on it from Hudds to Baitsmiths. Even though a light rod would be nicer for Baitsmiths and other small swimbaits, I think this rod is fine since it can handle heavy and light swimbaits. I have it paired up with a Shimano Cardiff 400, which is a great reel. Awesome combo, awesome price. Be careful though, swimbait buying is very addicting.
  25. Keep it down, thats the new hot lure this year. Haha. I thought Roland was the top sell out.
