  1. ok well you gotta hook em thru the back under the dorsal fin. thast the best way. they swim better that way. some other things to try are senko style worms either t-rigged or wacky rigged. these almost ALWAYS catch bass no matter where you're going. also, try some rapala DT-4's in bluegill color. that should match the hatch perfectly.
  2. cool. what does it take to tow one of these?
  3. these might be a better option http://www.oz2uktackle.com/soft-plastics/jiggly-cicada-river2sea-/jiggly-cicada-45-03/prod_924.html and i've also seen one cicada lure (hard bait) that has little paddlewheels for wings. im pretty sure t-rig has one of these. i wanna say its made by lucky craft.
  4. stick a 4/0 hook thru the back of one of those bit size sunnies (just below the dorsal fin) and report back to us how well you do .
  5. awesome! i hope you get some big ole florida toads on it!
  6. i dont know if any of you remember, but a while ago i made a post about my favorite worms which are discontinued (river side big wag). well i have found an alternative that looks almost exactly like the big wag! check these out: http://www.texasbasstackle.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=523 i think im gonna order a few packs of the black grape, blue fleck, and green pumpkin. i wish they came in a 10" size too. maybe they will come out with a 10 incher later.
  7. i did a bit of sight fishing at the heavyily pressured local park today. every once in a while i'd see a pretty small bass (15" and under) just cruising by in the shallows, and what i would do is take a senko or small ribbon tail worm and cast it about 5 feet away from the bass, but not directly in front of him, put it infront but toward deeper water. i caught 2 bass this way today.
  8. did you get it yet buckifan08?
  9. thanks for all the help guys. i might try freds. there is also a store in lexington park called the tackel box, they sell mainly saltwater stuff but they might be able to order some.

  13. today was my last day. im ready for a summer of fishin!!!! heck yeah!
  14. LOL! im sure they would sell great in my area though. many other people would buy them.
  15. i slay em on a slow steady retrieve with a rapala dt.
  16. aint that the truth! :-[ i wonder if there is anyway i could get my local dicks to get a shipment of these.
  17. wow...i dont want it that bad :-/
  18. the lure is a jointed rapala size 13 (biggest size) in muddler color. looks like this: muddler is a color that isnt even supposed to be available in the US, but my local dicks sporting goods sells a bunch of muddler colored rapalas (at regular price), but they dont sell this one! > my friend in canada said that his local tackleshop was getting a new shipment of muddler raps, and he said he would send me one, but turns out theyre not. so does anyone know where i can get one of these? theyre like 15 bucks on ebay, and im def. not paying that. i will pay a reasonable rapala price (3-7 bucks) for one, but no way im paying 15 bucks!
  19. mehhhh it just looks like one more thing that can break on a $20+ lure... i wouldnt buy one. :-/
  20. i was gonna buy some of those. theyre expensive though...
  21. dont know if you got the email, but if you enter the promotion code: 68FREE at checkout, you get free shipping on orders minimum of $150. just thought i'd give you a heads up if anyone was planning on buying 150 bucks worth of stuff from cabelas any time soon. offer ends 6/23.
  22. i love how you pass those off as "some good fish" that you didnt bother to weigh. here in maryland, those are absolute TOADS!!!! great job paul. keep tearin' em up.
