im pretty sure youre referring to the H2O baits at Academy. i know that River2Sea has some megabass knock offs. but at least the river2sea's actually work and are nice baits!

i fish a small farm pond which is just a pit dug into the ground and filled with water. i know its full of crawfish (even though ive never seen one) because i see their holes all over the shoreline. there are little "towers" of mudballs with a hole that goes thru the middle and into the ground (see picture) all over the place. these are crawfish holes.

yup, i always have some metallica on for the drive im sure if i was fishing by my self i would be more likely to listen to my ipod, but i probably still wouldnt because i'd need to concentrate on my fishing.

hey guys, i was just curious, how many of you listen to an ipod or radio or any other kind of music while you fish? i personally never have, i would think that i'd be more concentrated on fishing without music, but i have never tried fishing with music.

im usually too busy fishing to take the time to eat, but i like to have jerky and gatorade when i fish.

yeah im sure there are but it sucks pretty bad to have to turn around at one of your favorite fishing spots and then continue to waste your day by sitting around outside the dressing rooms at the mall for 4hrs.

i probably wont do a photo finish on this one, i think im gonna use rattle cans.

today SUCKED for me... :-[ heres how things went down: i wake up excited cuz my mom said that she would take me to the local park today for some fishing. so i paked up all my gear and loaded it in the car. after a quick lunch we head down the road to the park. when we get there its closed :-? so we turned right around and went all the way back home. very disappointing. so then my mom and sister decided that they are going to the mall and i wanted to go so i could go to dicks sporting goods to get a few DT-10's. so i tag along. well my sister needed to get a formal dress for her senior flute recital. i figured ok thats not so bad. well it took her 4 hours to finally settle on a dress. she was getting so stressed about each little thing and she was being a real b**** to my mom and they are both stressed out and everything is wrong. four hours later i get to go to dicks. this was the whole reason for me going. i get there, go to the rapala aisle, and then go to the DT section. i look down for the DT-10's. THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE COLORS I WAS LOOKING FOR. as of then my whole day was ruined. my suffering didnt even pay off.......... :-[ hope you guys had a better day than me

yes there is a little bump in the spot where a spool tension knob would normally go. i did notice that the mag brakes on the left side were very strong, just a few clicks and the spool would barely turn for a 1/4oz lure.

great job paul and emily!!!! that sounds like alot of fun. i love the feeling that a bluegill makes when a bass is about to smash 'em!!!! im heading to the local park tomorrow, where bluegills are a plenty, hopefully i can get some little ones to use for bait (last time i was there the shallows were void of bluegills, which is uncommon...too cold i guess). catch a biggun or two for me ;D

yeah they are 14.99 for the 5 inch and 19.99 for the 7 inch. i really want one of these baits, but im not sure im ready to drop that much cash on one lure. Will, did they have the 7 incher at the store?

i had 57° water yesterday and the fish were holding about 6 feet deep in 11 foot of water. i caught a few on crankbaits that dove to the depth they were holding. theyre might have been better options, but cranks got me a few.
