  1. i remember the thread too and i know for a fact that you can send them back and get replacements (at least you used to be able to at the time of the thread, probably still can i don't see why not). just contact rapala however you can and ask them.
  2. never saw it...did you post it here?
  3. i'm not really a Depp fan but from the previews this movie looks alright.
  4. awesome colors on that second fish!
  5. this is the only baby bass i have painted: and this is the only trout i've painted (its not on a lure but i painted it lol):
  6. ...another pumpkinseed pic ;D
  7. I do the same but I add the few lipless cranks in with the few deep cranks I use and then another box with swimbaits. i cram a few of my handmade swimbaits into my lipless box since i don't have many lipless cranks, and the swimbaits are technically lipless too
  8. X2 x3 i use a med power/med action rod and i don't have too much of a problem having fish come off.
  9. i organize them in 3700 boxes by diving depth: topwater shallow jerkbaits med/deep lipless
  10. just watched The Deer Hunter. it was deep.
  11. Hmmm.... Around here its completely opposite. Muddy water prevents light penetration, which keeps the fish a lighter color. Clear water lets the sun through which darkens the backs of the fish. That's why the bellies are white. same here. they also get dark around weeds to blend in. but their bellies aren't white because light doesn't get to them, they're just white because thats the color of them, like most predatory fish. helps them blend in (looking from below the fish, helps them blend in with the lighter sky). also, the fishes mood plays part in their color. i've noticed this from the fish in my aquarium. when they get scared or stressed they get pale, and when they're in an aggressive mood (fighting or eating) they get very dark and the colors and markings really pop out.
  12. stuff like water clarity (light penetration), the depth the bass were holding at, surroundings in the lake (weeds, bottom composition, etc) all affect how a bass is colored. temperature might even have an effect too, not sure on that one though.
  13. bow fishin looks like it would be lots of fun
  14. looks like a solid 2 pounds
  15. i've never seen that movie so unless you're talking about the part where he lip syncs to Bob Segars "Old Time Rock n Roll" in his underware, i don't get the joke. but i ended up watching trainspotting 2 nights ago. it was extremely difficult to understand with their heavy accents, but was otherwise a pretty good movie. i'd watch it again, but not for a while. next time i have 3hrs to kill i'll watch the deer hunter
  16. could be a shad kill due to dissolved oxygen depletions...this happened at my local lake and it killed a lot of shad and they washed up. it even started to effect the bluegills.
  17. nice one! ;D good fish too! very colorful...
  18. excellent paintjobs. i like the bass the most and i'm gonna guess the unlabled one is walleye
  19. x2 on what Muddy said. i can cast a number 11 on my M/M crankbait baitcast combo just fine, but smaller than that, i like to use an UL rod with 6lb test.
  20. what the heck!? why??? that is a sweet fish too, i hope it is a new record too so the old one can be laid to rest.

i don't use it, but i've wondered about it... what do you guys know about megaupload/rapidshare? is it reliable or whatever? one safe way to get mp3's is to download the latest version of RealPlayer (that can download streaming media) and then go to www.playlist.com, play a song you like, and then you can download it as an mp3 with RealPlayer.
