  1. I dont run them on the same batteries. Ill try the rubber trick
  2. I just installed one too. I love it. The only problem so far is the interference with fish finder.
  3. sorry to hear that. I was really disappointed. A buddy of mine was fishing ribbits which did not float either but sank at a much slower rate. Hopefully there is a way to fix this.
  4. I tried the rage tail toad yesterday for the first time. I could not get the bait to stay on the surface. Is it supposed to sink? I rigged it as suggested with a 5/0 ewg (owner).
  5. Went out today. Man was there was so much more debris compared to yesterday. We landed 10 with three thrown hooks at the boat. Largest went a little over 4lbs. Great day on the water!
  6. CONGRATS!!! any pics of the inside??? stop holding out!
  7. well done!!! I gonna try that bait tomorrow. Any tips? How did and where did you fish it?
  8. didn't fish too much. we took the gf's out today...had 3 fish total though (2 perch and 1 cat all off spinner baits, haha). Still in shock about the water. I expected so much debris. Good luck tomorrow. What kind of boat do you have?
  9. I went out today. It was not bad at all. I was very surprised! Launched at pohick and went as far as old town. Who's going out tomorrow?
  10. I would think the heavy rains would push some fish up very close to shore. Find the cleanest water you can. I fish there often and I can only imagine how dirty the water will be. Good luck.
  11. I agree. The water there can be quite rough from all the boat traffic. I would launch at pohick. Its very calm and a ton of fishing close to the launch area.
  12. 7'6" H carrot w/ a high speed stx
  13. the pics look great. I have had mine about a week now but I am still waiting on the transducer from humminbird. I exchanged the transom mount for a hull mount. I am having a blast playing around the GPS though!!!
  14. Great point. I use similar rigs for surf fishing and it can become a mess very quickly. However, I agree, try it and see what happens.
  15. I would be worried about line strength having multiple knots.
  16. I guess I'll trust your opinion...haha
  17. You can find them on sale too. I just bought some tonight at Dick's Sports. They were 2 for 10 and I had a 10 off 50 coupon. I bought 20 or so packs a few months ago from Boaters World when they were going out of business for less than 3 a pack. Shop around.
  18. I was having the same problem 2-3 months ago. Just keep looking. I finally found a Ranger on craigslist. It takes time. Don't settle. You can try expanding your regions on Craigslist and eBay. Good luck. Check out bassresource flea market and iboats. Great forums for boating.
  19. Raul, Any thoughts on the baits you listed??? Speedbead, 6 inches and under/1.5 ounces and under.
  20. I have a few of his baits but did not notice any hard shad style. What is the name of the one your mentioning? Thanks.
  21. Hello all. I am looking for a hard body shad style swim bait. Everything I own is the soft variety. Recommendations?
  22. Hello all. Anyone use Mattlures, Minnow Series??? What size weighted hook do you recommend? How was the action? Thanks.
