Biggest Surprise/disappointment
Surprise: Fat Ika. Looking at it, I thought there's no way it would catch fish. Now, it's my #1 producer by far. Disappointment: Red Eye Shad. I know you guys slay with them, but I have literally never caught a single fish with one. I do however, kill with the old school rattle trap.

New Lamiglas Rods Are Out
Just checked out TW, and the two new Lami lines are available and in. They have really changed the look on the cert pros and the infinity line looks real similar to the old xmg50's. I can't wait to get my hands on them!

Finesse Bc Set Ups
Enjoy that reel! I have mine paired with a Dobyns DX702 and 8 lb yo zuri. It is a finesse machine!

Spinnerbait Reel Ratio And Line
Same for me. I feel much more in control with a lower ipt reel. Definitely helps keep the bait from rising on me.

Line Is Breaking Need Some Imput.
I've had this happen to me in the past when I am really "whipping" a hard bait. Chances are, you are exceeding the breaking strength of the line right after the rod loads up.

Quantum Energy Vs Citica Vs Abu Sx
I have fished quite a bit with all three of these reels, but only in certain series. The quantums were 760pt's--solid little reel and sweet looking. Can't say thy ever gave me any problems. The Citica was a D series--great reel and an absolute tank, although massive by today's standards. I still have and regularly fish a 1st gen Revo SX--we have a love/hate relationship. It kinda reminds of a pitcher--sometimes it has good "stuff", and other days I can't stop pickin backlash. It's definitely a finicky sob. I have literally beaten the tick outta this reel and it keeps coming back or more. All things considered, I would probably go with the Quantum out of these three particular reels.

Slower Reel For Other Techniques
I prefer a low ipt reel for spinnerbaits and hollow body swimbaits.

First Lure
If I have any expectation of a top water bite, I'll throw a buzzbait for 15-20 casts--if no bite, a pop r for 15-20 casts. If I'm not getting bit, out comes the t-rig and the fat ika.

What Is That One Lure That Always Catches Fish For You?
If anything is gonna get bit that day, a Fat Ika will do the trick.

Opinions On G Loomis Nrx 893C And Imx Mbr 844C
Can't say anything about the nrx, but the 844c is a classic. If I could only carry one rod, the 844c is it. IMHO, it is THE heavy t-rig/jig rod, and is also an excellent frog stick. For me, the sweet spot is in the 3/8 to 3/4 range. Looks like both rods will complement your others very well.

New St. Croix Rods
Looks like I'm in the minority. I think they look pretty sweet. Not a fan of the rage style handles however--would much rather have foam, or better yet, cork.

What Is Your Favorite Candy Bar????
Went with other on this one. My all time fave is Big Hunk with Cherry Mash a close second. Would also pay a healthy price for an old school PB Maxx.

Pre-Tying Knots
I have a slab tied on right now that's literally been on for over a year and no tellin how many white bass. It's kinda like a lucky charm at this point.

I Hate My Spinning Gear
This is exactly where I'm at with spinning gear. Once I cast I truly have no clue where it's gonna end up.

Favorite Classic Rock Guitarest?
Hard to argue with Clapton. Had the pleasure of seeing him with Derek Trucks in concert a few years back and it was amazing.

Best Light-Mid Weight Jig Rod
I can't speak to the 843, but I do have an 844 glx. Idk If its just my perception, but the 803 just feels more "alive" in my hands. Dont get me wrong, the 844 is a bamf, but the 803 is perfection. Perhaps it's the recoil guides...

Best Light-Mid Weight Jig Rod
BCR 803 glx was made for exactly that

Why Not Store Soft Plastics Out Of Their Bag?
I keep mine in gallon zip lock baggies sorted by type, color, etc. and just take along what I think I will need for the day. This really helps me stay more organized and cuts down on the clutter.
