  1. Cavitron. Can't even remember the last time I threw any other buzzbait.
  2. Float tube, bro. Nothing better or more relaxing.
  3. I recently went through this exact decision. I went with the 705 glass. I'm glad that I did. It handles everything from baby 1-'s to dd22's well.
  4. Lamiglas, Loomis and Dobyns make up my entire arsenal. Can't say that I really like any one better than the others.
  5. Excellent choice. That rod is perfect for just about everything with a treble hook.
  6. Gotta second this. Not my favorite rod, but if I could only carry one, this would be it. Great for a ton of applications.
  7. Check out Hi's tackle box eBay store. American legacy also has a pretty good selection of used gear.
  8. 7" power worm or a tube. Pretty much all I throw anymore on a t rig.
  9. Gotta be my newest and most ba combo yet. Dobyns DX702c with an airy red pixy. It is a finesse machine!
  10. There's not one...at least not that I've found. If you have to have fouro just bite the bullet and get trilene 100% or any one of the seaguars. If not, yz hybrid in 20lb is money for flipping.
  11. Thanks for the responses. I went ahead and jumped on it. My NIB airy red pixy should be here in a few weeks!!
  12. I have my eye on a reel from a Japanese seller with really good feedback--shipping is EMS only. Anyone have experiences purchasing from Japan...good or bad? Really hate to drop a couple dimes to see it turn into a costly headache.
  13. Got hooked up real fat this year. 2 new sweet setups and another reel on the way thanks to a nice Christmas bonus. Wife found me 2 gently used chronarch 50mgs, a bcr803 glx and a lami don iovino 6'2" ml. Also finally took the plunge and ordered an orange pixy. Super stoked and very grateful!!!
  14. They don't get a lot of mention, but I love my Lamiglas certified pros. The xc705 is a great all purpose stick. 704 is also pretty versatile, but with a more moderate action.
  15. http://http://www.wildlifedepartment.com/fishing/deptlake.htm Some really good lakes that not many know about. Most are low pressure and pretty small and easy to learn
  16. That's awesome. And yeah, I can totally do that.....
  17. 7:1 or 6.3:1 for everything excepts cranks, and for me, spinnerbaits. I personally find the e7 much more versatile than the e5. If the high ipt of the e7 is not n your comfort zone, look for an older curado 100d in 6.3:1 or even better a chronarch 50mg
  18. That's probably pretty spot on. UT is still a year or two away, I'm afraid.
  19. Could be off on this one, but I'm pretty sure that the horn relay is on the pssgr side behind the glove box. It's a real pisser to get to. Prob gonna need to remove the plastic trim along the door jamb and another plastic piece that is right in the bottom corner of the right side of the floor board. You should be able to see the harness at this point. Just follow it up behind the glove box--the relay plugs in right off of the harness. It's gonna be closer to the door than the center of the glove box. Been a while since I've done one---may be easier to remove the glove box as well.
  20. Haven't used this particular rod, but I would highly recommend the cert pro xc704 for the same applications.

Rig it backward to start. After a few fish tear it up, turn it around and rig it normal. Watermelon/ rd blk flake and black/blue flake are pretty much the only colors I use. They are ba flipping grass and cat tails
  22. As much as it kills me to say it, gotta give it to UT-Norman. They are loaded. Broyles is the best player in the country regardless of position. Even with Lewis hurt, the d is gonna be stout as goat pi**. Cory Nelson will be all world. I hate them with every bone in my body, but this looks to be the best big 12 team since the Horns won it all.
  23. My go to c-rig bait. But also great weightless fished like a senko
  24. Trilene 100% or invisx. Gotta 2nd the KVD l&l
