Built Up Reelz

Featured Replies

Have any of you guys ever heard of wickedreelz? ( www.wickedreelz.com) I am considering having them do a supertune and drag upgrade and was curious if any of you have had them do your reel. The videos are amazing but Im just wondering how satisified any of you who had it done are. Are the bearings difficult to remove and maintain yourself?

Apparently they are located pretty close to me but I've never heard of them before.

Yup, go with a proven winner. Why leave anything to chance?

Maybe his reel service is better than the grammar on the website.

This ^^^

Why the heck would you send it anywhere else? :eh:

That was a pretty cheap shot. I talked to DVT on the phone and he gave me waaay more time out of his workday than I expected and he was very helpful. He will be getting a bunch of my reels end o' season and one that needs fixed shortly. I would recommend him.

Pretty sure he was refering to "wickedreelz.com"

Another recommendation for DVT...

I wasn't talking about DVT. In fact, he has hooked me up on a few reels. The "cheap shot" was in reference to the wicked reelz site, the one the original post was talking about.

My apologies.

Hmmmmmm.....

from the wicked site:

we can NOT get all the build up around the reel foot and line guide cover on some low profile reels.

Red flags already. "Why not?" would be my first question.

Wow, I never knew he offered that service. ;) Do we get a 10% discount on that too?

Mike's a generous guy, LOL.

Seriously though, last week I was looking for some Shimano parts that were back ordered, and he hooked me up without hesitating.

Great guy, great service! I've had a few done from him :)

Ironically Wicked Reelz posts on another forum that is Delware based LOL. Anyway, lots of posts or should I say boasts. Tries to be helpful on there, I don't know how the service is but all the talk is a turnoff for me.
