Clayton, I can relate to what you are saying. Back in the 70's I lived for a year in Dubai and for three years in Iran. The summer heat and humidity are brutal, until you adapt. i remember the first day I stepped off the plane in Dubai. I thought I was standing in the plane's jet wash, until I realized the the engines were shut off.

Long Mike, I remember a "cold snap" in Viet Nam.

The temperatures dropped into the 70s and we had to wear our field jackets to keep warm.

Being from South Louisiana anytime the temperature drops below 70 it is C-O-L-D!!!

Glad I got out of that region when we did, even had our own heat wave advisory up here but it never happened

This is for all you guys who torment us northerners in the winter.

The ten day forecast for our area has high temps ranging from the mid seventies to the mid eighties, with low temps in the sixties.
