Deck Shoes (year-round)

Roger

why aren't flip flops in the mix?

People trip on them, they provide no arch support and offer no protection for your feet.

Flip flops are for drinking beside the pool little kids and women.

Fixed.  ;)

Gotta left my toes breathe when I am on the boat so I fish bare footed.  When I am shore fishing though, I go with a pair of old tennis shoes.

I NEVER wear shoes in my boat. Up to 3 pair of socks in cold weather, but never shoes. Barefoot 3/4 of the year.

I wear my work boots all year. On the boat when it's nice out I'll wear my sandals, sometimes I'll fish barefoot.

Another vote for Boots.............Red Wing steel toe ........never leave home without them.

I where boots mostly when walking the shore and tennis shoes or boots when in a boat. I used to wear sandals but burned my feet really bad one day and never want to go through that again. When I do wear sandals sunscreen goes on the feet!

Bank, sneakers or wading boots with socks, fire ants everywhere here.

Beach, crocs or sandals, never barefoot, you never know what is washing up on shore in the middle of the night.

Offshore, deck shoes with traction.

Sneakers for everything except on the boat then it's Sandals.

lol awesome. Im glad the gay jokes had made its way to this thread.

Thong style sandals, and if it gets really hot those things absolutely have to come off.

chacos flip flops have awesome arch support. what other protection do you need besides the soul protecting you from hooks? theyre for women and kids? i have them, and last time i checked i was a full grown man. standing up for my flip flops dam it. i'm wearing em everyday on pickwick just to tick you off

I used to do barefoot, even on the shore...but then this happened. In the bottom right corner you can clearly see where my right foot pivoted to scramble away. You can imagine where my left foot was. This was where it came to rest after striking at my worm.
