B---o M----w? Don't you know just using those two words in that order can get you banned? I thought the program blocked them.

Only one thing I hate to use, treble hooks. Nasty things, especially with two or three of them dangling from a bait.

Like others have said - soft plastics. I know that as a class they are probably the most productive bait...but it's just too slow and boring for me. I have vowed to try to fish plastics more this year...

A Carolina Rig, I just can't seem to get into just draggin' the thing around.

With the exception of soft plastic jerkbaits I hate using soft plastics and yet, about a third of the fiosh I catch are caught on them, a man gotta do what he gotta do. 

If I had to pick, I would have to go with senco and carolina rig. I know they produce, but there are other methods I would go to first. I guess it's a matter of preferance.

Anything involving a red and white bobber

1. Shakey head

2. Deep Diving crankbaits (all though I'm getting better with them)

3. Vertical spoon jigging

Soft plastics, although, I have vowed to catch smallies with tubes this season. I'm just too "Type A" to throw out a bait, and wait.

I love my crankbaits. spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, and swimbaits. If I'm chucking, and winding, I'm a happy man.

Deep diving crankbaits.  I HATE THEM SO MUCH!!!  Anything that dives more than 10ft is completely unproductive for me.  I'm hoping to really buckle down and learn them this summer.

I was shocked when I saw nobody had mentioned my 2 most hated.

1. Float-n-Fly... I'm just saying watching paint dry and grass grow is almost as exciting and you don't have to do either one of those in 20 degree weather.

2. Silver Buddy.... This is the only lure that can get hung on everything it even gets close to touching. I am pretty sure this lure was an evil plot by a fisherman to get his competition to stay hung all day while he fished.

It is nice to see what is one persons garbage is another persons gold.  Alot of the baits mentioned here are some of my favorites.   Allthough I'm really surprised at a couple of the responses

I don't really hate any one lure but I am starting to understand that in the lakes I fish it is very hard to get certain bites.  For example there is no bite for : spinnerbaits,jerkbaits,and top water.  The fish in these lakes just don't accept those presentations.  I've learned that they like the jig, dropshot, senko, if the afternoons are warm a crankbait, and a swimbait once in a while.

I imagine that on other lakes with different conditions the lures that I am so confident in wouldn't produce squat.  So while I don't hate them, I do get frustrated that the presentations that work for other fisherman on other bodies of water don't work on mine.  It would be fun to catch them some other way, especially on topwater.

Senkos. They catch a lot of fish but I cant stand using them. I don't dislike using spinnerbaits, but I've only caught two fish on them, and one was a trout.

Big Bass Chaser makes a good point. Some baits are great in some places and awful in others, I don't know why but it is like that in the local waters around here. The hot lures change from location to location and I know that happens all over the country. That is why I don't agree with playing by the rules when bass fishing, way too many variables. Keep an open mind and adjust on the water.

Topwaters! Spooks, poppers, frogs... I hate them all! My friends think I'm crazy, but I just can't stand fishing topwater.

You must be crazy topwater is the best. My least favorite is probably spinnerbaits.

Frogs have been my one real downfall with me getting hookups on them but never knowing when to set the hook so haven't been able to lip any fish when they have hit them.

My other downfall has been swimbaits with nothing even coming close to hitting them but may just be the way I've fished them in the past.

Gonna have to give them both a try this season

Jigs, I simply do not have the patience.

The Roland Martin helicopter bait and the Banjo Minnow. I can't seem to get bit with these tremendous lures. I'd rather fish a Dancin' Eel than these baits.

Certainly tough lures to have success with (unless you know the secret, that is). The Bionic Minnow has caused me fits, but the Mighty Bite is my true arch nemesis. Everyone else on TV can catch fish with them, so why can't I?

I've only started fishing again in the last year, but I just can't seem to get confidence or catch fish on Tubes.

It seems like whenever I tie a tube on I can't fight the image that I'm dragging a black & blue turd along the bottom of the river or lake.

I wind up giving up, tying on a speed craw and catching fish.

I hate Carolina rigs.  On the other hand, T rigs have caught most all my big bass, and I fish them well and enjoy it.

Another one I havnt caught on is a spinnerbait, but just because I havnt put in the time.  This summer Im going to put some effort into it.
