Not any more.  Many years ago my dad went in for emergency open heart surgery Friday 13 in the evening, not much staff in the hospital then.  As he was being rolled into the emergency room he sees a calendar and said " oh sheet", 7 hours later he pulled thru in great form........it's a good luck day for me.

That's good to hear. I'm not either but I got a laugh out of me ending up in the er on that day.

Oh...did we just have a Friday the 13!!

No, I was born on Friday 13th so it has been a lucky day for me.

My Dad was born on Friday the 13th, so no. glad you're out of the er.

I had kidney stones a few weeks ago and the left an infection behind in my kidneys. I was there on Monday and got antibiotics but after a few days no relief. I went again after work last night because my temp was 101.3 and I felt terrible.

After some shots,pills, and fluids I'm feeling a lot better.

My girlfriends lucky number is 13 idk y but my aunt probably would think she is the devil if she knew that hah

I'm a roulette guy and back when I was in NJ and hitting Atlantic City every weekend my numbers I would always play were 5,8,12,13,19,21,26,30 and I would always go (with 2 of my buddies who sued these numbers too) on the 8th, 13th, and 21st of the month regardless if it was a weekday.

Some years ago we were in a surgeon's office to discuss the abdominal surgery that my wife needed. The doctor checked his calendar and told her his next available date was Friday the 13th and asked her if she had any problem with that. She said no problem without even thinking about it. I feel the same way, no superstitions.

Haha yeah. I wish every man had to experience them at least once. Just so they understood the pain. When I tell people they've brought me to the floor and tears to my eyes. I feel like they can't comprehend how bad it is and should share in my joy lol.

I usually pass my stones in 1-3 hours. My wife carried our children for 9 months, then had a couple hours of agony as an 8 pounder with arms and legs came crying out. Personally give me stones any day as opposed to that.
