It varies a lot for me but a majority of the time I use 15 or 16 but I'll go down to 10 or up to 25, depends on the situation.

Have you used straight fluoro ever?? Having been using braid with no stretch you will find that straight fluoro stretches quite a lot at least in the 10-12# super sniper that I have. Very noticeable working through weeds. So Id say stay over 15-17# maybe that will stretch less or need more force applied before it stretches.

Try the 15# you have now see how it does.

yea like 8 of my combos are full spooled flouro. But wanted to switch with new dedicated set ups. Going to order 1000 yard spool and couldn't make up my mind.

Depends on the line diameter of the line manufacturer. with the higher end fluorocarbons, line diameters tend to run smaller than lower grade. i like using .15 size fluoro for jig fishing which equates to 20#  in Tatsu (what i use for jigs) but its around 15-16# in lesser grade fluoros.

I'm using abrazx gonna just do 2 15# spools for my 2 jig rods. One I'm gonna use for my soft swim baits as well, which was on 12#.

I find 12# Fluoro to work well,casts fine and easy to work with.Haven't lost one yet.

I have two setups for this, one is 12lb abrazx, the other 20lb abrazx. Depends on cover which one I go with.

 

The stretch in flouro is a concern when choosing one that is more manageable, mainly made for spinning reels. Tougher lines like Abrazx don't stretch near as much and have very good abrasion resistance.

For weightless presentations I have a few set-ups: 

Spinning tackle: #4 Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Tatsu #6

Baitcasting gear: Kanzen #30 with a Tatsu #15 leader or Tatsu #20 (no leader)

I have "4" combos worms-jigs etc. Heres what Im planning.

 

• Spinning - 6# invizX (already been using, dropshot, senkos.)
• BC - 15#  AbrazX T rigs and 3/8oz jigs (This is a new rod 7'3" M/F)
• BC - 15# AbrazX 1/2oz football jigs and football jig headed swimbaits(New rod as well 7'3" MH/F ..was using 10# for my Keitechs)
• BC - 20# Abrazx for flipping on the broomstick.

I will not use less then #15 lb test in Florida because of the size you can catch and all the weeds you encounter. I will go heavier at times.
