What Happened To, Original Fish Formula Ii Fish Attractant ?

Featured Replies

I had used this for year and my last  bottle from a few years ago finally ran out, now I can't find it anywhere. Did they go out of business ? Is there a close substitute or similar product ?  I always used the "Gamefish" marked scent. -Thanks

Try MegaStrike, it's a game changer!

Where can I find it ?

Bass Pro Shops or order on line ;)

I add 1/2 oz pure anise oil to a bottle & put it in a spray bottle.

Which Megastike are you guys using?

I used the stuff years and years ago.  I didn't like the oily sheen left of the water from it washing off the bait.  Seemed it didn't last more than a few casts. Plus I really didn't see any difference in catching more fish.

Megastrike lasts much longer, and catches fish!

Megastrike works well.

The goo is for you!

I have been only using  the original formula.

Original and crawfish for me.

Original on everything

Bass Pro doesn't have the Fish Formula. Did a Goggle search and turned up nothing. Their web site is defunct . So I guess I'll look into the Megastrike.

Megastrike will stay on your bait longer. Original is my choice.........

Also Smelly Jelly Pro formula works too

I remember having that Fish Formula stuff in Game Fish and Worm scent. I swore by it as a kid. The down side is it was so stinking messy and didn't stay on the bait long.

I am like everyone else here. I use Megastrike and have for probably going on 10 years (or however long Bobby has been selling it). FLW Pro Dave Lefebre is the person that got me trying it before he was a big name on the tour.

I can tell y'all one thing Fish Formula is better than Megastrike at!

Carpet removal!

My youngest son stepped on a bottle & every where it soaked through, the carpet came loose.

Creative Concepts USA, the company that produced The Original Fish Formula, no longer exists and there are no sources to buy it from. I still have a bottle that's lasted 10 years and use it sparingly to lubricate plastics to prevent catching on weeds and rocks. As far as man-made scents/ attractants go, not my cup of tea.

I have a bottle of the fish formula Flippin I used a different one made by that company that had glitter mixed in it worked very well for not only helping bass hang onto the lure but also it would help keep it clean of all weeds including eel grass

I loved the stuff and now its gone I have tried the flippin and it just isn't the same as far as Bass holding the lure or enticing them to strike it it is still working to keep the grass off the bait though s not all is lost

I have tried the mega strike and IMO its junk doesn't work at all I have better luck with buying a container of fish food from the pet store and mixing it in with fish oil it smells like Berkley power worm scent and works well

however still not as good as my old fish formula

I'm the Daughter of the inventor of Fish Formula. His name is William David Bethshears. I'm planning on getting this back on the Market if I can find some investors. Let me know and I'll make something happen. Until then,  keep on fishing....Life is what you catch!!! Love you all!!!❤❤❤

Welcome aboard!

My wife used to call it 'go go juice' and we used both the original and the offering with glitter. The anise oil was great at masking the plastic smell, so much so that I'd spray some in the bags of new plastics.
