Hey there, new member here.  I've never posted on BR but I've come here looking for information plenty of times.  

Currently, I'm looking on Tackle Warehouse and all the Shimano reel prices have been dropped along with the introduction of the new Curado 200i reel.  Does anyone know if this is a permanent change in prices, or just a sale for Tackle Warehouse?  I've looked on the Shimano site, but I didn't find anything.  Maybe I missed something.  Any info will be appreciated.  Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.  My guess is it is a temporary thing since the new models will be introduced later this month.  Just clearing out older(current) models in preperation for the new ones!

Welcome to the Forum! I was on the TW site earlier this evening and saw the sale prices. Buying more than one gives even greater savings on some of the higher end reels. If only I had some extra cash...

 

As Jeff said, I am sure it is only a temporary thing.

There is some other stuff on sale as well, including Loomis and Daiwa.

Just ordered a Chronarch for myself

Now we just gotta get this winter season out of here....

I think they are just matching another online retailer's "Super Bowl Sale."  The prices should be back to normal on Monday.

just becareful /w the promo codes + sales. I've tried that a few times /w big sales. the first e-mail you receive that gives you the total and items you ordered gives the discounted price. the following e-mail when you are actually charged for the items deducted the promo code and only gives sale prices. they are good at catching that.

Yeah I've tried this before with a different promo code. They don't stack with sales.
