Berkley Havoc Subwoofer

Featured Replies

Who uses these and what are your opinions? I came across them recently and they looked great. I will try them out texas rigged with a small bullet weight. I also plan to use them as a trailer to my swim jigs. I'm not sure how I will like them on their own (t-rigged) but I think they will have a great value as a trailer for my swim jigs and chatterbaits.

I use as a swim jig trailer with good results

I use them for T Rig Scrounger trailers and a goto on my punch rigs.

Very good baits !

I have a ton of them for swim jig trailers. There's a color to match up with about any jig you can find.

Hands down my favorite swim jig trailer. I really don't fish them by themselves. I prefer baits like the swimming caffeine shad and a shockwave or swim impact for that

I also use them as swim jig trailers. Last year I pitched them around on a t-rig with an 1/8th oz tugsten sinker pegged to the nose, and fished it like a worm quite a bit too........results were impressive

i use them alot my local walmart sells them and ive mainly use subwoofers for swimjigs, punching, t-rigged, also there craw fattys are nice too

I've used them as swim jig trailers, and they were solid but not stand-out. I actually had decent success throwing them on a belly-weighted Mustad Impact hook. Biggest surprise was the size of fish I caught on it, up to 5 1/2lbs. Overall for the price they're definitely worth picking up.

Punch skirt / trig rig... Great rig... Great bait.. Great colors... Great price... Did I say it's great?

Awesome trailer for a chatterbait.

I, like Bass Junkie, have much more success with these on a small swimbait hook than as a jig trailer. I always have to either cut the skirt on my jig really short or reel it super fast to get the tail to kick. They have great action by themselves though and I've caught a ton of fish on them, especially green pumpkin with 3/4 of the tail dyed chartreuse. I haven't tried flipping them but I will now that these guys have told of their success doing so.

Thanks for all the feedback and opinions! I'm excited to get out and try them out for myself this weekend!
