Large Worm Brands?

Featured Replies

I'm wanting to start fishing some bigger worms this year and test their effectiveness here up north.

What is everyone's preferred brand/specific lure?

I use Zoom Super Salt Plus Ol' Monster 10.5" worms. Plenty of colors to choose from, decent durability, and best of all.....cheap!

The Rage Tail anaconda and recon are big.

I like the Zoom finesse worms. I'll have to try out some of their other products.

Berkley 10" Powerworms and Ragetail Recon and Anaconda are my favorite choices.

Netbait makes a very cool 15 in. C-Mac. The long ribbon tail gives off alot of action! Netbait  makes the C- Mac in 7.5 in. and a 11 in. and they come in many colors!

I use a lot of plain old Culprit 10" worms a lot. They are easy to find and have awesome color schemes.

The largies love those around here.

Rage Tail Thumper

they do work up north just fine.

Powerbait 10 and 12 inch or zoom ole monster.

I use the Gene Larew salty snakes.  Also another vote for the Rage anaconda and recon worms.

The ribbon tail on the salty snake is long and has a ton of action.

Manns Jelly Worm (12") and Yum Mightee Worms (10.5")

Big is subjective....for big check uptons customs. Ever think you might just need swimbait gear to toss a several ounce worm!

Culprit worms 10" & 12" red shad, black shad.

Uptom's Customs, Josh also makes "normal" size big worms between 9" to 16", the 24" is a monster worm!

Custom hand poured worms that work great.

Jethro baits big toho is a good 10 inch worm and they're cheap lol

I have a couple Upton Customs that are GIANT. I'm not even sure how big they are. I haven't used them because I don't have a hook that I feel would be big enough, lol.

MANNs Jelly Worm x2!  Get the grape color and scent.  You open the bag and smell, then tell me you don't want to take a bite.  I missed a giant last year on one, but they definatly go for them.  Another thing I like about them is that they keep the dinks away, with the bigger size, you will catch bigger fish.

I got hooked on the rage tail anacondas, they make a great bed bait because their something not a lot of people throw onto them. but make sure you give the bass enough time to eat these massive things.

rage tail thumper and zoom ol' monster
