What type of casting rod/action etc is best for spinnerbaits? I have used 6'6" mh fast action rods in the past, and recently decide to try out a Denali Kovert spinnerbait rod. The Kovert is a mh, moderate fast action and almost seems a little "soft" to me.... Would it be better to go with a mh fast action over the moderate fast? Or is it really all personal preference?

I fish a spinner bait a lot like a swim jig so I like a fast action. I suppose if you're burning it a slower action might keep you from pulling it away. Then again, there's the trailer  hook. 

I would go with the fast action too. I only use moderate for cranks or maybe one of those Hack Attack rods for braid. 

I have a MH/F I use as my spinnerbait rod. I typically use moderate action rods for treble hooks.

I like a h/mf for spinnerbaits

Medium fast for open water, medium heavy fast for cover.

Spinnerbaits are almost like jerkbaits when it comes to rod selection, the difference is instead of being an even split, most prefer the fast action rod. I bought a glass rod brand new with plastic on the cork, tags and even the bar code from the store, it was advertised as a "crank and spinnerbait" rod, way to soft for spinnerbaits but some anglers like a soft rod for those. I have a MH-MF rod that I have used to throw spinnerbaits with and while it worked I didn't like it and I'm guessing that the Denali will be ok, you just need to get used to using a softer rod.

X-fast for me. Most baits up to a 1/2 oz. get medium. Bigger baits, heavier power. Always x-fast, though. I want to be able to drive the hook home at distance, with no delay themat a slower rod can have.

I am in the Ex Fast-Medium camp, but I fish 3/8 and 1/2 oz spinners.

I have the Denali rosewood spinnerbait rod and I love it. It's a my mod-fast.

It's all about personal preference

I use loomis gl2/3  rods and all are H/F except for my crankbait ,it's M/H/F  I really think it's a personal pref ,What's more comfortable for you ....

Depends on the size of the spinnerbait, and how I'm fishing it. MH fast (leaning to moderate) usually, but since that means different things, I go by feel. If I'm steady rolling, I like the rod to load up a bit, and for the tip to clearly show the blade action, so a little softer, when burning a fast-xfast, a bit heavier, but again I go by feel.

I prefer a crankbait type rod on spinnerbaits as well. The BPS crankin stick is great for spinnerbaits, you can feel the bait's blades turning and thumping really well. Bass tend to HAMMER spinnerbaits and the slower action helps them take it in deep and stay pegged.
