Line Suggestions

Featured Replies

Looking for line suggestions for two of my combos....only taking two for an upcoming fishing trip, but I should have most situations covered to an extent, one spinning combo, one baitcasting. I could be throwing a little bit of everything so I'm looking for a good all around line for each of the combos. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I would go with Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Probably 8 lbs for the spinning and 12 lbs for the bait caster.

I am actually considering this line, I had used it a while back and done well with it.....I take it you've had a good experience with it?

I have always had great success with this line.

#6 has a breaking strength of 11.9 lbs and is my recommendation for spinning gear.

#12 for baitcasting gear

Also considering p line cxx and suffix elite for mono lines......is there a fluoro that seems to work better than other on spinning gear?

Tatsu is THE BOMB!

I use p line cxx in 12 and 15lb. I like it a whole lot

For flouro I would consider sunline. Any type would be good

Seaguar Tatsu

I haven't used the NEW Berkley Trilene Pro grade XL fluoro that is made specifically for spinning reels but I hear good things.
