After catching a couple on a 7" worm, I decided to give a fluke a try.  Hooked one on the first cast and ended up catching 10 more within the next hour.  This may be my new best friend :-)

Twitch, twitch, pause. Twitch twitch, pause. Some version of this depending on what the fish tell you. Finnicky fish will hit on the pause and need slower/softer twitches. Ticked off fish will hit hard jerks at any point, maybe even try 3 hard twitches.

Watermelon red flake is the best producer for me.

Usually a twitch twitch pause. Sometimes I use slow pulls of the rod tip and let it die.

I normally fish Flukes fast, keeping them close to surface.  It isn't a slow presentation at all.  You can fish them slow, like a Senko, but I usually use Senkos for deadsticking and Flukes for fast twitching.

Watch the way bait fish run when being chased and try to emulate that action with your fluke.

I'll have to give that a try. I twitch them pretty quick but just the wait for it to sink gets to me.

Iv tried and tried to gain confidence in flukes, and cant seem to catch fish on them. Iv caught one little bass on one, which slammed the mess out of it, but Iv sorta given up on em.

You can also change the direction the fluke moves by slightly pointing the nose up or down when you rig it on the hook.   You can make it skitter across the surface or stay under the surface, even with a fast retrieve.  

They work best for me when I fish them kinda fast. I want to see what it is doing so I can control my twitches and make it move how I want it to. Thats why I like pearl because you can see it really good. If you know where the bait is point you know how to jerk it. It keeps them from darting off are weird like they do sometimes. They are also great fished really fast over mated grass.

I always use a nail weight with a Fluke. Changing where I put it depending on what kind of fall I want.

Nose hooking can really make them crazy too.
