Has anyone had any luck with price matching TW price on the T3 Ballistic at BPS or Gander? Im looking to buy one, but If I can pick it up in person tomorrow I'd rather do that then shipping, but obviously if they wont match the price, I'll give my business to TW.

Our local Gander Mountain will not match Tackle Warehouse.

Just order it's free shipping. Make it two day shipping for $5. Not even a long wait.

I just don't understand why in the world you want another company matching TW 's price when you can order from TW, still get FREE SHIPPING and have it at your door in a couple of days. Ain't that good enough ?

If he has the option of going the next day to pick it up at the same price as online then why wouldnt he do that as opposed to buying online and then waiting on it to get there even if the shipping is free? Cant fault a guy for wanting to get something a little faster haha

Thats true, I know I would be fine with paying for tax on something that I was really wanting to get sooner rather than later. I guess it just comes down to if you really dont want to have to wait or not.

Yeah it's hard to wait when you want something. Those big stores are getting a little long in the tooth. Go wit tw. Wish I could help but that price matching thing always seems to have some loophole when I try. Btw I got a t3 at tw and despite some bad reviews I like it especially with good braid. Gotta change the handle though. I put an old bps reel handle on it(one bushing one bearing) now I really enjoy the reel (don't be afraid to push the price matching issue though always worth a try)

Ok, you don´t pay sales tax but shell out 10 bucks for next day delivery, I still don´t get it if all you have to do is wait a couple of days and not pay any extra.

 

My TW orders are international and I have them knocking at my door in 3 days, usually at around 6:00 PM.

Because if someone has a day off work the next day they like to use that real if they have to work the next three days after that..

Also waiting sucks it's worth the $10 to get next day delivery

I just wanted to do it today on my day off, and go fishing with it later, because its my only day off for something like the next 10 or so days.

 

No big deal, I'll just get the free shipping, but I wish I couldve price matched it today and got to use it. (which Gander and Green Top respectfully declined)

THe Gander near me wouldn't even cut me any slack on a display model. I think they're gonna have a hard time selling it at their $200 clearance price.

Don't bother.  I was in my local BPS yesterday and overheard parts of a conversation between a customer and the man behind the reel counter.  It turns out BPS will only price match to physical store prices. 

 

Pick up your T3 Ballistic at TW but do take a real good, long, hard look at the Tatula 1st.  I went T3B but I wish I went Tatula.

Yep... They (BPS) HATE when I try price matching with TW.. Lol! Oh well, you know I respect their Right to Decline, but man they seem to really get ticked off if you even ask
