Sug on 2-3 ounce swim baits?

Sug?

Sug?

Perhaps he means suggestion. I don't have any as I don't use swimbaits over 1.5 ounces.

Savage Gear 3D line thru trout is a very nice bait near the top of that range that doesn't break the bank.

Depends on where you're fishing, but a Hud 68 would be tough to beat in that weight range.

An 8" Hudd is a pretty good starting point. I use 25# test Triple Fish mono spooled on my Ambassadeur 6500-C.

6" G2 punker is at the bottom of that range.

Huds, Punkers, Ospreys, Savage Gear Real Trout and Line Through, S-Waver, Deps 175, Gan Craft 178, Jerry Ragos, Matt Lures, Spro BBZ's.

Those are all top notch and proven baits and they are baits I use personally. I could keep going naming off baits in my boxes but that should cover anything you really need.

Pick your poison and decide what you really want to spend.

Good Luck

Dyanmic lures dynamo, lipped dynamo (goes deeper) and the dynamic FX fury. All for 13 bucks or under and fantastic action.

Sug on 2-3 ounce swim baits?

22nd Century Triple Trout 7" = 2.8 oz

Huddleston 68, ROF 12 = 2.1 oz

S-Waver, 6.75" = 1.6 oz

Black Dog G2 Shell cracker = 1.5 oz

Shell cracker, sinking = 2.8 oz

Lunker Punker 6"= 2.8 oz.

The 8" Hudd ROF 12 = 4.8 oz, heavier than your target goal.

Tom.

The 6" River to Sea Live Eye Bottom Walker is a nice bait for slow rolling in deep water and is very reasonably priced. I've caught a lot of fish on this bait. Recently I've been using the Weedless Hudd Shad and the Weedless Hudd68, I've been impressed and was pleasantly surprised at the hook-up ratio. These baits can be thrown almost everywhere .

Get a 6" Lunker Punker (MS Slammer is good also but Punker gets me more fish), 68 Hudds (ROF 5 & 12 and I have the weedless), and the River2Sea 178 S-Wavers and you can cover the water column from top to bottom. If you can push over 3 ozs. then you can get the 200 S-Waver, Salvage Line thru and 8" Hudds which would run in the 3-4 oz range on these! If I may recommend 1 thing is learn the baits you get before jumping from bait to bait buying more, because you really can do allot playing with retrieves! Check also what's been working in your area but I'm pretty sure these will work anywhere!!
