Have you used the G-soul before?  I didn't read carefully and bought some of the 14lb, which is so thin I can barely hold it to tie a knot once my thumbs get roughed up.  I want to try it for real, but I can't decide what size to get or what application to use it for.

No, I havent used the line. I went by line dia. for purchase 60#rated at .012 which is the same dia. as the 40# Samurai.  I actually havent opened the lines to check them out yet.

Please report back when you use it some.  The 14lb does cast very very well and is proving workable if frustrating on an UL spinning combo.

Not all tackle, but here's a few things I've picked up recently (once all my tackle orders come in I'll have to make another post ).

A bright yellow PFD so I can stay safe on my inflatable kayak this coming spring, an automatic PFD that will keep me safe fishing from the boat, a reel bag to store em all in (other reel bag is full ), a small tackle bag to keep all my ultralight/crappie/trout tackle in, and a new 6'6" ultralight rod with a 500 size reel full of 4lb line.

Gonna get a reel for it but haven't quite decided on one yet. I have a 200 series Conquest but I want to go low pro. Bought that rod cuz I got it new for a hundred bucks but gonna pick up a Loomis IMX SBR.  And I just received an email from this guy in the pic and have 5 of these headed my way in February, Merry Christmas to me lol!                                                                   

Not a huge haul but I just picked up 2 packs of BPS 4.8 Speed shads,a pack of 3.5 Havoc Grass pigs and a pack of 5/0 Owner weighted twistlocks for a whopping 1.80$ after using my reward points!

Anyways she let me open my Rapala order a day early, here's the loot

My Zillions came in today. Such beautiful pieces of equipment, and so smooth right out of the box. One is going on my 7'9" AGS flipping stick and the other is waiting for a home. Can't wait till Toledo is full of grass mats again so I can put this thing to work!

@j bab nice Choice on that countdown x rap. I've caught plenty on mine. I also like VMC for alot of my specialty hook needs. You have good taste !

I did pick up that shallow shadow rap last week in the carbon color.

Maybe I should have put it by the spinner bait and flutter spoon? Lol mepps spinner is one of my panic baits ! Its a true multi species bait and I have a huge plano full of them. 

Yea GY and SK are my favorite brands for plastics. I made a thread mid summer with a poll. SK vs GY . Pick one and you can't use the other ever again.. with 88 votes and it came out dead even
