I know lots of guys that like them, and at $16.50 apiece, I couldn't pass them up. Great kayak rods if nothing else.

You got the from FFO correct? They are labeled as reconditioned on the site, can you tell what was repaired on your rods?

I am a big fan of those Hammer rods! I have one I use for spinnerbaits/chatterbaits and also their flipping stick. Love them. Curious to hear your thoughts on yours once you've had a chance to get it on the water.

I couldn't find anything except one guide had a little bump of epoxy, so I'm guessing they replaces a guide. They still have the wrapper on the handles and look brand new. Yes they are from FFO.

I'm planning on using this for my bladed jigs. It's very light and feels right for then so I have pretty high hopes.

Big fan of their swim jigs.

For Christmas my wife got me a TW hoodie and hat to go with the gift card she got me. 

 

She really surprised me though with some mudbug big TRDs, after I had made a comment that it was supposed to be the hot color. I never would have bought the big TRDs myself, but now that I see them I really like the looks of them. I did great with a 1/2 Zinkerz slider combo on docks last year, the big TRD looks to be the perfect size for this and should have killer action with the extra length past the hook.

Got an SS SV103 today.  My initial impression was very disappointing.  The box is white and not black like my other Diawas.  I hope it gets better from there.

T-minus 6 hours to get my Black Friday order.

Lots of SK and Gambler baits with the extra bit off. Some new Zman colors and baits. Red cranks were a theme for me after success with them last year. Lots of skirt material to make up some Clearwater swim jigs. Also got some traps and a couple of Echos to round it out. The arishi vibe does look interesting. Now need to wait and see if a good enough reason to order pops on the 25 days sale.
