Is There An App For Br?

Featured Replies

if so please tell me lol

Haven't discovered it yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed. A good solution that I have found so far is to download an amazing app called "Pulse", which organizes news feeds from lots of different sources into one place. I have a lot of news, humor, and hobby websites that I follow so I have used a lot of similar apps. I am also a big fan of one called Feedly, but BR updates don't work as well on that app.

In any case, Pulse will display articles and topics from just about any website that has frequent updates, including BR. I have bassresource front and center (along with field and stream, outdoor life, and in-fisherman) on a tab that I have labeled "outdoor". When I find a topic that sounds interesting, I just click on it and post a comment from my tablet.

The only apps I use for fishing related info is a tide chart, weather radar and google maps.

Tapatalk is not compatible with the forums.  The mobile version is fast, simple, no updates necessary.  I use it around 80% of the time.

Just to show my computer skill limitations, I hear all this talk of APPS, what is an app?....Really, what is an app?...So manyterms thrown around is confusing to old folks like me.

It's short for "application," which is fancy talk for program.  Usually "app" is used in reference to a mobile device, such as a tablet or smartphone.

There is no "probably" or somewhere on the app market... If there was an official app, we would know

In this case, An app is basically a piece of software that you can download on your mobile device. Theres an app for ebay which is a optimized view of ebay for the mobile screen, an app for paypal.. Etc.. Apps are also games too or other tools like a photo editing app

Plus you can continue where you left off on a thread. For some reason you cant do it  on the PC version.

So an app is not used on your computer , but , on a mobile device? Or a means of connecting to a mobile device?...I have a cell phone, is that enuff or does it have to be a certain type of phone?.....I've been meaning to try and figure this out, just havent gotten there yet.

All of the programs on your mobile phone are apps. Even if you have an ancient non-smart phone there are apps. (the dialer, text messaging, etc.) Applications (apps) are used on computers as well as phones. Your web browser, office applications, photoshop, turbo tax, etc. are all apps. In modern colloquial terminology "app" usually refers to a smart phone application that can be downloaded from the web.

The original poster is asking if there is a Bass Resource app that they can download to their smartphone/tablet so that they don't have to use a mobile web browser to access the site. This is a common question and there have been countless previous threads asking this same question. The answer has always been no.
