Anyone who uses face book and is friends with some one in here have you noticed a huge increase in members popping up in the "people you'd should know" section mine has been loaded with people from here judging by all the pics of guys holding bass that and I recognize some of your ugly mugs lol

Hey!  I resemble that remark. LOL

I've noticed the same thing and often think.  How many of these are BR guys?

Its the cazyness plus another reason. The other reason is knowing my buddy once was all up in it also. In a way its kind of like having it with him.

Hmm, I'm friends with a few guys from on here, but I don't spend any time looking at the people I may know option.

I check into Facebook daily to see what some of my friends and family are up to.  I'm a member of a few groups from Detroit where I grew up that have a lot of participation, non "friends" but people I know pop up.  I don't use my fishing screen name, other fishermen don't appear.

I'm rarely if ever on Facebook so I don't know if it is or not.

What's Facebook?

That's the problem though. I only have one friend on there I care about talking to. The rest I really could care less about.

The major difference I see between Facebook and more specialized forums is wider range of options available on F/B.  Not only does F/B cover the entire world with an almost uncountable number of topics, groups, etc but it can be quite localized as well.  One case in point may be the Flea market here on BR, we see them on other fishing forums too, on F/B there is a group selling used gear right here in Palm Beach county.  Another group I'm a member of are people from 1 small area of Detroit that live here in Florida, many of us are close in age, we have get togethers, F/B makes this possible.

F/B can be as big or small as you want it to be.
