Anyone Have A Pflueger Supreme??

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has anything to say about these reels.....Thanks

Just got my first one last week and it is by far the best spinning reel I've had.  Feels extremely smooth much smoother than my Shimano Sahara's.  Have not got any fish on it yet due to the ice still on the lake.  Casts great in the yard and is extremely light.  Mine is the 30 size. Needles to say I ordered another.

I have 2 Supremes. Wouldn't have bought a second one if I didn't love the first one.

I own 4......1st one is now 4 yrs old. never a had any issue at all. I think the best reel for the money out there. imo

I just grabbed one of the supreme xt's at cabelas Saturdayl morning for $75. I am looking forward to using it in a couple of months after ice out.

my friend has one and its one of his favorite reels. i use shimano and diawa and lews though

I have 3 of them in service well over 5 years, there good freshwater reels.

I have one and love it. Especially at the price I got it at. I have the MGX version, not the newer one.

I have the spinning version.  sweet reel for sure

I just bought one back in January and took it out for the first time last week.  It felt great.  It cast well.  It's pretty smooth.  It feels a little cheap in the hand but performs flawlessly.   I would say, you would be hard pressed to find a better reel at this price point.  It may be one of the best bangs for the buck out there, depending if you find it on sale.

Which one are you talking about? Casting, or either of the 2 different spinning models? I have both versions of the Supreme spinning (MGX and XT). I really like the XT but I wish I'd just stuck with the President instead of buying the MGX's that I have. They're nice reels, I just don't think they're $40 more nice.

I would jump on that $75 deal from Cabela's if you're looking for a new spinning reel. Great reel for the price.

Yep, jump on the XT for $75, that is a good reel! I grabbed an MGX for $59.99 and I feel I got a great deal, and I have an XT casting reel, very good work horse reel and either casting or spinning you'll do well.

I have a Supreme XT spinning reel that I've had for 3 years and it's a great reel. Very smooth, quiet and strong. Can't say a single bad thing about it actually.

Bought two XT 's last week when they were $99 online at Cabela's.   A couple days later they're $75!  Go figure...

im thinking hard about pulling the trigger on this XT sale. i dont really need another reel though. i have the MGX and love it, great reel...

I would bet if you called them they would honor the new price.
