Tough Bites Or Easy Bites ?

Tournament time , do you prefer an easy bite where everyone is catching and a heavy bag is needed to finish at the top or would rather see tough conditions where everyone struggles and a small bag can win it ?

I seemed to place higher on those tough days . Windy , muddy ...

Well, when it comes to the good days when everyone has a decent bag and you need a 25+# bag to do it, it really just comes down to luck! Whoever gets to put their bait infront of the big one! So really its anyones game.

On the tough days it's strickly skill, what do you know that the other anglers don't to catch fish in those conditions?

If i had a chance i'd fish the tough conditions, and pull out some secret baits, and find the cover!

Without question I much prefer the tough bite.

Does not matter to me, I take em as they come, & let the chips fall where they may!

I normally do better when it's tough. I can grind bites out almost anytime, but seems like I have a hard time getting the big enough bites when they're jumping on everything.

X2. Been there, done that. Freaking Leavenworth and Lone-Star... :cry4:

Tough bite, no doubt.

I like it when it's tuff

When the wind blows tournament day everyone with half a brain catches them on erie, give me a bright sunny day with ZERO wind every time. Only the strong survive.

I'm ok with both, but if I had to choose I'd rather have a little on the tough side. I'm in the same boat as gardner and blue, I just don't seem to hook the pigs when it's a slugfest.
