I just made a huge post about how the Structure Bug produced huge numbers for me, so I'll say it again -   Rage Tail Structure Bug!

  • Texas rigged Zoom trick worm watermelon red, 3/0 hook, 3/16th weight, this is my confidence bait, also the most productive.

I've caught at least 40 fish on the Strike King KVD splash this month.

Last day of my up north vacation. I have been killing it on a chatter. the docks have been a hot spot.

Senkos and bl/blk chatterbait...

most of my fish this year have come on swim jigs with a Keitech trailer(easy shiner & swing impact) or a Rage Menace grub

Last time out it was the Mann's Wakebait in TN Shad.

EZ swimmers and a watermelon zoom ol monster.

Frogs in the flooded bank weeds, H&H Spinners on the weed line and Culprit Fat Max's on a VMC Drop Dead rig around structure.  Got my PB on a Scumfrog trophy series (Natural Black/Green) yesterday.  For all the rain we've had, the fishing has been pretty decent.

Lately I have been catching them on topwaters in the morning, then jigs and shallow running crankbaits later on in the day.

I can't say that I've been slaying the bass, but strike king 1.5 squarebills have been producing well for me right now.

Seibert's dredge head June bug has been hot this weekend but black and blue has been good too I like the d bomb and xcite raptor tail with an inch bitten off as the trailer

Swim jigs

Spinnerbaits are working for me, catching nice bass and nice pike, I'll take em both!

During spawning this season I caught 11 Bass 2-3 pounds on:

VMC Wacky Hook size 3

Flick Shake 6.8 Bluegill

Immediately fell in love with this rig when the fish started moving off the beds I took the same rig and stuck a nail weight in the head for a weighted wacky or 'Neko Rig' worked ok

At this point with the weather changing I have changed to a lead head jig 1/2 ounce with a Damiki hydra under the skirt.

My lure suggestions:

Drop shot

Lead head rig with swim bait

Or good ol' C-rig with a creature

For the past few weeks:

1. 1/2 Jig black&blue w/ zoom super chuck

2. Sammy

3. Gunfish

4. Baby brushhog

A Red Dirt Bladed Swim jig has caught more fish for me this season than any other bait. I'm either fishing it with a Keitech 3.8 as a trailer or a Rage Craw.

Anything topwater, they don't seem to be picky.

Today It was the LT pumpkin seed!

Caught over ten in a hour I think!

Floating jerkbaits in creeks and small rivers from a canoe. Quality smallies all day. No giants yet. Summer has just started though.

Only thing they would eat early this morning was a Lucky Craft 100 size pointer in Aurora Black.

Top water froggin' and jigs baby! Let's go!

Red Dirt is good stuff. Made right here in Indiana too. Give Throw'n Thunder a try sometime.

You guys are lucky lol what you guys are all throwing, most of it wont work up here for at least another 3 weeks. CT is so far behind. It's mid June and I actually plucked a bed in a tourney yesterday. Lol
