Using A Wrench For Bass?

Featured Replies

Check this video out. Using a wrench to catch largemouth bass. I definitely want to give this a shot next time I'm at my buddy's overstocked, stunted pond. Palm Beach Pete promises a follow-up with a larger wrench to see if he can get some bigger bites.

And evidently Palm Beach Pete does wear & promote the wear & use of a PDF.

Soon we will be debating Snap-on, Craftsman, Mac, etc for our bass fishing.

I have a 18" adjustable wrench? Big Bait Big bass if they don't bite I'll knock them out. Lol

Wasn't the rapala invented when he dropped a teaspoon in the water? He seen the wooble.

I guess the s-k, husky wrenches will be on the south bend, Shakespeare level? Lmao.

Crazy! Put a teaser on anything shiney and see what happens.

Is that standard or Metric :):)

Would a double box end wrench send out vibrations through the holes besides flash too?

Here goes the wrench sales at harbor freight?

Lol -- meanwhile, here we all are on the forum splitting hairs every day over exact lengths, weights, colors, brands, actions, scents, etc. needed to get a few more bites...

Well dang I can get bags of gummy worms from the dollar general for $1. That sure beats $7.50 for senkos. Plus I'll have snacks just in case.

I guess it depends on whether the body of water in within the borders. :)

I couldnt quite make out how he had it rigged .

Me either. There is a video about how to rig assist hooks for jigging spoons. I imagine it's the same but a smaller hook.

When I read the title "Using A Wrench For Bass?", i just thought it was the nickname of a lure I wasn't aware of, or slang for a piece of tackle.  Little did I know.......

.....If I use an adjustable wrench, like a crescent, will it adjust the size of fish I'll catch?   :tongue5:

I never tried it, but Buck Perry used to say if there was a topwater bite going, he could cut a little branch off of a tree and hang trebles off of it and catch fish.

how much money have i spent on lures when i had a box of wrenches in my garage the entire time.

Guess you could use ratcheting wrenches instead of rattles in stained water.
