Hello.  Just getting back into fishing after a 3 yr layoff.  Boat's been sitting in storage that long and decided to keep/use it vs selling it.

Been lurking and reading this forum...found it is loaded with good info, especially the SI/DI units. Helped my decide on a new HB Helix 7SI GPS.  Thanks.

Mostly bass fish but will try to catch just about anything I can.  Fished a lot of tournaments in FL so transitioning to these deep water reservoirs has proved tough, hence the layoff.  Not catching = no fun.  Hoping to change that with some new equipment and a different attitude.  Definitely need to downsize some of my pool cue rods for some that are more suited for the lakes around here (although I'll keep them for chasing Muskie).

Welcome to the forums.  And every outing weather you catch or not lends itself to learning and observing.

Used to live in Hampton Roads.  Stationed at Langley.  Didn't do much fishing there 'cept the small lake on base near the off-base housing unit.

Lots of great fisheries in our area. Never fished the Langley

area ponds, though.
