Something is making some racket in the woods over here. Don't sound like a coyote. We don't have hogs around this area. Whatever it is, it is gotten me curious. I've got the glock 17 loaded down with ammo, and my trusty 45-70 gov. loaded with 325 grain wrecking ball. Time to go see if this Beagle can earn his keep.....

Worst case scenario I turn the Mastiff loose too.

Its either a rabbit or a ground hog.

Whatever it is, it's burrowed up in its burrow. He dug out half the hillside trying to get it. He was bouncing back and forth between two holes, and digging like all heck at one of em. I called him back and set him loose a second time. He followed the track back to the mound he was at to begin with. So obviously I got a small furry forest creature living in a burrow inside a dirt and large rock mound. Seems as if his training is working out quite good. I just may have me a new hunting companion.

I am a bit disappointed it wasn't a big foot or larger game animal though. Maybe it was a big foot that transformed into a ground hog and hid from me. ;)

That would make my 7 year old the happiest child in the world, if I caught him a pikachu. LOL

If you want it in one piece, use a net not the Mastiff.

You gotta use a poké ball. Least that's what I've been told.

Sounds like the beginings of a redneck romance novel

My theory about the whole bigfoot thing: you just have an oversized bait monkey visiting you.

My prediction for this thread...11 pages.

I'm gonna get comfortable and let this saga unwind.

Perhaps it IS Bigbill.

Most likely Big Bill sneaks in and steals your dirty undies to sniff then retreats back into the woods

Haha Where is big bill he hasnt posted in while

Raider's house?

Once, this possum tunneled under my HVAC pad where he commenced to die. Every time my AC came on it filled the house with his dead self. Took me a while but I dug him out.

The End

Have your fun. Right now it's the 400lb black bear that's back. I bought those squirrel proof bird feeders. Guess what there not bear proof. He bent a Shepard hook to get one. The other one is outside my window. I heard a noise during the summer it was a big racoon. Haven't seen the racoon since the large bobcat has been hanging around.

Just bobcat n bears. No cold or snow yet.

Funny the bear broke one metal feeder, emptied it, left it. The other one he took with him. The bear does take out.

Wild boar  maybe?   That would be "PIGFOOT"
