Norman vs Bandit

Featured Replies

Which is better the Norman Deep baby N or the bandit 300?

I really don't think one is better than the other. Presentation/color is more important than brand. Saying that, I'll take the Bandit, my favorite crankbaits.

This is more a personal preference and color choices that fit your needs than anything, in my opinion.

Got to go with the bandit. I just catch more fish with bandit cranks than Norman.

Never had much luck with Norman's. Haven't found a Bandit that didn't work though, the 300 is no exception to that.

I will take a Norman Deep Baby N over a bandit all day long. The fire tiger without the glitter is my go to bait. I can't remember how many big bass I have put in the boat with that bait. With that being said PRADO just purchased Norman lures so we will have to wait and see if they ruin this lure or leave it as is. I went to the boat when I heard this news and counted 54 DBN's,I should be OK for a while.

I like them both. I've caught more bass on the Norman because Walmart had them when I was poor. I think they had an exclusive deal for a cheaper model with cheaper paint and hooks. I've also had stripers pull the back hook off a Norman Lil Deep N-the med size. Also, they can get so banged up they won't tune, but they're pretty cheap. I've never hooked a striper on a Bandit. For the record, the hook has never come off a DD22 for me. I have always bought one fire tiger and one shad color.

Bandit seems better quality to me. My fav squarebill is the Bandit FlatMaxx as well.
