next TW sale?

Featured Replies

Got a TW gift card for xmas. It is begging to be spent, but I was wondering if anyone knows when their next big sale is so I can stretch it further? Thanks.

First one that I know of is Memorial Day. I am in the same situation, I split a 25 days order with my father in law and now I am waiting for the Memorial Day sale.

TW maintains a list of people who ask "when is the next sale" on the various forums, and use it to disqualify you from future sales/promotions.

They send secret agent 008, alias name Bait Monkey, to find out that sort of thing.

This reminds me of when I'm walking around a store and someone randomly ask me where a product is like I should know just because I'm there. Seems like it would make a lot more sense to ask an employee (i.e. email TW or join their mailer to get notifications of their next sale).

Don't think I can wait until Memorial Day !!!

I have never made it to the Memorial Day sale, I have been very weak in the past lol. The only sale I have ever made is the 25 days and gift card which then burn a hole in my pocket. This year I had my wife hide the gift cards on me to protect me from the call of the bait monkey!

Just hoping nobody releases anything cool before the opener that I must have, last year the Lewis echo called to me and just made me put an order in:)

I'm waiting for a good dale there and bps. Looking to hopefully pick up a pro qualifier cheapish.

There probably won't be another one, at least until the present one is over. Never heard of them having two sales at the same time.

But they do, the 10% gift card and 25 days sale. They got some of my money for both sales.

The first half of my 25 day sale came today. The second half comes tomorrow!

I would love a sale sticky thread, but I'd hate going through all of the questions to have the most recent answer, and it just to be over lol. Too bad mods can't just lock a topic and update the thread as a sale starts or ends. But that wouod be asking a lot out of then for us to just be lazy. Cheers.

"Waiting for a sale" seems to me like "Waiting for an excuse to spend some money".  If you really want something, buy it.  Look at the money you expect to save, divide it by the number of days you'll do without it waiting for a sale.  If it's worth the wait to save pennies a day, you don't really want or need it.

I've saved thousands over the years. Definitely worth it if you add it all up.

If you're stocking up on stuff you already have and like, I agree.  But if it's something new, I say go for the cheese.  (FWIW, my wife agrees with your approach.  Always. That's why she handles our money and I get an allowance. ;))
