I enjoyed the Select shows. I noticed they didn't have all the commentary from all the talking heads. Just starting the Summit cup and they are back. Marty Stone says nothing important and Sheli Sanders just repeats the scores like we haven't been watching.

There I said...I feel Better.

 

I prefer looking/listening to Sheli much more than Marty. 

I stopped watching MLF when they stopped allowing you to watch it streaming thru their website

Sheli has a couple things I quite like. I'm pulling for Brent Chapman. He's from 25 miles from me and I like his personality. Watson is a doofus. I'd love to pull for Martens, but as long as Brent survives, that's my man.

They could get rid of Sheli and Marti and I would not miss them...but I guest she's following in her dad's footsteps...I would like to see more fishing and less talking...and its not all the time you can see the lures they're using...

Yeah, I was hoping to see Ott Defoes swimbait he was throwing..  It was a good show but I like seeing baits & such.  

Usually when the series is over they do a show with each winner showing what they used to win with. Those shows are pretty informative, how they used the baits and in what environment they used them in.

Ott was throwing a 3.8" keitech fat impact on a 3/16 oz lead head.  Could've been a kicker fish slapper tail but I would imagine a pro wouldn't opt for the knock off bait. 

i have them on the DVR so i fast forward through all the garbage commentary and just watch the fishing, which there is plenty of!

I assume you are talking about Tommy Sanders?  I've never been able to find confirmation that these two are related?

I assumed she was his wife.

Great program...especially like it when they release the fish...but leave it to someone to mess it up with the talking heads...why waste the money on Marty Stone and the Sanders woman...the only part they play is to interrupt the program...seems like they could just let the boat official's give the score updates...
