Craw Trailer with the most action

Featured Replies

The lakes and ponds around me have dirtier water not mud brown but it ain't clear by any means. So I'm looking for a craw plastic with the most action to grab there attention I mostly use them on jigs but sometimes just Texas rig them for a more finesse approach. I use the Rage Tail rage craw or the crazylegs chigger craw now but didn't know if there was any better or ones with more action out there. Was looking at netbait paca craws, zoom and zman with the ultra vibe type pinchers, or the flappy daddy I think its made by gambler can't remember off the top of my head. Thanks for any help in advance

Rage or Paca would be towards the top end of my list.

Biospawn vile craw works quite well for me.

have you tried other forms of creature baits, like lizards or brush hog type baits with a lot of appendages? if the water is dirty, maybe a bigger profile plastic may work just as well as a craw.

I have tried brush hogs but not as a trailer.... The only other thing I've used is a beaver style bait and the only ones I've used of them is the strike king rodent and missile baits d bomb

Paca craws have the most action imo, but tear very easily.

Kietech crazy flappers have alot of action

You'll be hard pressed to find a trailer with more action than the Rage Craw. You could use a Rage Bug to get the back and front legs flapping at the same time.

Try a Junebug or black baby brush hog if t-rigging. Another trailer to try would be a double tailed grub.

I prefer a paca craw myself.

Rage Craw or lobster

A rattle will catch attention as well. Also, using black in stained water helps. If you T-rig craws, put a glass bead between the bullet weight and the hook. It'll click every time you twitch the rod. It just flat works.

Most action you can get out of a soft plastic.

Honestly, for the largest amount of flapping action, is the Culprit Creature Craw. Hands down.  Seriously this thing is ridiculous.

Second, I would say Rage Lobster

Until I try all craws available I can't answer this with certainty, and that's probably not going to happen.

Of those I have tried, Rage Craws and Netbait Paca Craws are pretty good.

The Rage twin tail menace grub has great action.  I use those and Rage Craws the most

Even though these about the same overall length as other crass, they have a much larger profile with larger appendages

Gambler burner craw, love the action on them, also mister twister poc it craw released air bubbles and also has a ton of action

There are a lot of great trailers out there.  My favorite is the Rage Craw. I'm going to buy some Bizz Baits craws and try them out this year.

Rage Craw for me too!

I use Rage Craws but cut a small V in the side of the craws to get alittle more action. I do this with all my trailers no matter what brand. I also thread (using a needle) old rubber strands from a spinnerbait skirt through the body of the lure to give it tenticles or feelers. Give it a try.

Netbait Paca Craws have been my favorite craw. I tried the Rage Craws and they do have good action on the end of the pinchers they go crazy. I hadn't looked at the Culprit Creature Craw but watching this video has me wanting to try them.
