I just seen on Facebook on Extreme angler page Rage has a new swimbait out.Anybody know were there for sale.Cant find them on any sites.They look really good.Want to pick some up.

I don't know where they're for sale yet, but I know they're fish catchers. Two sizes available, 4" and 4.75". Try 'em keel-weighted, on a swim jig, on a shakey head, on an umbrella rig (Yessah!), or weightless. The bigger size is where it's at. Not telling where to get the secret 6" one.

Some good colors,Be glad when they come out.

I will definitely be carrying them.

I seen these on his Instagram. Very interesting.  Any idea on when they will actually be released?

Yeah, A-Jay. I like em on a Rage Blade, too. So slow on the fall, and lots of kick, while being able to walk through the wood and stuff.

 Shane that's the only bladed style bait I throw.  It's a little more "subtle" and with the right trailer, it's been a quiet Killer.

So I wasn't going there . . . .

Not liking it.  Where's the rage tail?  Looks like they used regular boot tail instead of more of an original rage tail style, like a cut r worms tail.  That makes no sense to me.  SK just spent several years killing the market with their rage tail plastics, but when it came time to make swimbait, it seems like they chose to abandon their own innovation and make a bait that's just like everyone else's.

Well, if you think about it, it makes a ton of sense for them to do this. Their Rage Tail line is extremely successful due to their products offering a unique flange that gives off a ton of vibration/motion in the water. The Rage Tail line isn't known as a cold water product line. Before you say "Well Joe caught a pig in 40 degree water on a Rage Craw," I'm sure they work at times but as a whole, these aren't the first line of baits in most anglers mind when water is considered "cold". The boot tail design is becoming more and more popular and with Keitech basically being the cornerstone for soft swim baits, if the Rage Line can duplicate that success, they are only making their Rage Line that much more popular. This looks like it will be more of a "niche" bait much unlike their other baits that can be used in a variety of ways but I still expect this to produce and work very, very well.

If its any solace, your getting Big O's unparralled attention to detail and quality control.

Zoom has something similar to this.When you'd reel them in you could see wakes coming from the bass about to nail them. It was a very good bait but they would sometimes tear from casting before you even got a fish.I quit buying them because of it.

Love these kind of baits and glad SK/Rage has added their own take on it. I wonder when they will be officially released and have the colors and sizes available?

Well I guess I must've missed the day when a boot tail Swimbait such as these, were considered a "cold water" bait.

It looks good. We all know what this is competing with...

 

Only thing I need to know is how many come in a pack of 4 inch? That pic shows 6 for 4.75 inch. Give me 7 or 8 for the 4 inch and I'll be happy.

I asked Karl (Extreme angler) on the pic he posted on Instagram, he said they would be introduced this summer at iCast.

They were released this past Friday at the Classic, but yes, officially not till iCast. I believe they are gonna be 5 to a pack on the big one, and 7 for the smaller one. $5.99 in clamshells.

I just dropped 70 on keitech swimmers, now I'll have to buy a few of these to compare
