It started raining Monday night and is expected to continue through the weekend. With temperatures in the mid 70's it's a good time to be a frog!

@roadwarrior would you recommed to fish a frog this weekend?

With rain like that you'll likely need dynamite or an electro fishing rig!

The rain is constant, but the heavy rain comes in waves. A new warning has just been issued for "torrential rain" from 11:30 AM until 3:00 PM.  What's that mean, another foot?

Nah.  A fathom is six feet.  It has only risen a third of a fathom.

Toledo Bend full pool s 172' above sea level

On Monday the level was 171.5

On Thursday the level was 174.36-174.5 or an increase of 2.85-3'

With 9 flood gates open @ 22' they are releasing 1.5 million gallons per second which dropped the level 0.42' over 24 hrs.
