What is your favorite FLUORO drop shot line

Featured Replies

I am currently using pline 100% fluoro in 6 lb and I don't like it! I am not asking for braid to fluoro advise. What is your favorite fluoro in 4 to 8 lb test?

P Line Halo and P Line FloroClear in mist green. What did you not like about the 100 0/0 floro.

The FloroClear should help with that, but I have been told to try something like this,

This is Gamakatsu's version     http://www.***.com/Gamakatsu_Swivel_Shot_G-Finesse_Hook_3pk/descpage-GSSF.html

This is VMC's version called a spin shot   http://www.***.com/VMC_Spinshot_Dropshot_Hooks/descpage-VMCSS.html

I was thinking of trying a swiveling hook but being a perfectionist I don't like the added visible hardware lol pretty sure I am going to be runnin the sunline 7 lb

I think you give the fish too much credit. If a fish was going to be spooked by the tiny swivel he would first be spooked by the much larger hook! Just saying...

I don't use fluoro for DSing, but if I was going to, it would be 6lb Tatsu.

On my 2500 series reels I like 8# Sniper and on my 1000 series reels 6# Tatsu is great.

Been using Invisx in 6# for four years, and very happy with it.  Also been using Tatsu in 4 and 6# for two seasons.  I think it's a little better than Invisx, especially in terms overall strength, but it's pricey.  It is the best fluoro I've ever used, though.

P-Line Halo 6# or Seaguar Inviz-X 6#.

Another vote for sunline sniper in 7 lb. This plus some KVD line conditioner and you're golden.
