Are there other companies just like Huddleston who make small swimbaits like the 68 special or even smaller?

Yes there are a few companies that make baits that are sort of 'like' a Huddleston.

But IMO none that Catch Like a Huddleston.

What size & type bait are you looking for ?

im just looking for a 4-6 inch one  with the same plastic and everything that huddleston uses

I can't recommend anything better than Huddleston, at least nothing that's like a 68.

But there are several smaller baits - like the SK rage swimmer for instance that come in a smaller size &  is very good.

I have a couple of those but i just don't like them.

In this guys video at 6:25 he uses a swimbait that looks like a really small hud and at 4:00 im kinda looking for that swimbait type

Guessing your looking for something cheaper than a hudd but the same quality as a hudd. Doesn't exist. Look on forum market sites and ebay for a slight discount, if your lucky.

Matt Lures, Optimum or Castaic are likely to offer the best options other than Huddleston

I just picked up some live target swimbaits that are smaller.  Cant say yet if they catch but the plastic is soft.  The tail on my gizzard shad does not move near as much as a 68 at slow speed.

If it's the size your adter, hudd makes a small one like that as does matt.

I think so as well.

even though they are not made any more but you can still find with research is the Decoy Hydra-tail

Savage gear makes a 5 inch real trout paddle tail swimbait (image below).  I just got some but haven't fished them - water's a little too... hard.  They look good and feel floppy enough to have decent action  Full disclosure - I've never even seen a Hudd so I can't compare.

 

I got them for under $7 CAD on amazon

 

Their line-through trout comes in a 6-inch version; it's a soft jointed bait.  Action is good, price is right.  I have mine rigged up with wire for pike fishing.

 

4" & 6" Little Creeps All American Trash fish, not a boot tail but excellent high quality small swimbait.

Optimum Baby Line Thru has been good for me and come in 4, 5, and 6 inch versions. They're relatively cheap and durable. 

If you want inexpensive durable paddle tail try Big Hammer swimbaits.

Nothing is going to equal a Huddleston 68, the quality is always good and never had a dud lure form Ken.

You want it to look like a hudd, move like a hudd and catch fish as a hudd then .... you get a hudd. Hudd likes ain't hudds and that makes all the difference in the world. Not in the same leage as hudds but I've had good results with Castaic SBT swimbaits.
