Talk about square bills!

 

Found this oldie digging around in a old tackle box:?

Wow , thats what I call a "square" bill . 

That's impossible...everyone knows KVD is the first one to ever fish a square bill!!!!  

Very cool! Not terribly old (mid 1980s), and still available on eBay for collectors, usually $17-$20. Since its out of the package, I'd throw it and try and catch some fish with it ? Reminds me a lot of the old Spence Scout, which is the bait that got Strike King started and on the map back in 1966.

I've go two of em' somewhere.  I bought them in 83 or 84 if I recall. It had the action of a Scatter Rap but deeper. Now I'll have to go look for them.

Any of y'all zoom in on the bill?

Looks like it could be the predecessor of a Deps Buzzjet without the prop.
