I’ve heard that Diawa is revamping the CT’s - has anyone heard anything on this?

I've heard that it is being replaced. I do not know details

I heard it here. Don't remember what thread, though. 

I heard it on another forum from someone who most likely has good info. 

Hopefully good clearance deals on the current model if they replace it 

I doubt they replace it. Idk how it could get any better. The tatula line fishes twice as good as any other reel in that price point. But, companies do stupid stuff all the time. Guess I'll start buying them up.

I’ll definitely keep an eye on this as well. Would love to pick up at least one more, especially if it’s on clearance. 

I have bought 7 daiwa the past year. I love them. Especially my tatula and my sv tws

The CT type Rs and SVs are my favorite reels. Seems like they haven’t been out too long. Was this from a credible source?

It could look like a Rube Goldberg contraption and that's fine with me as long as it still works as well.  

They are in the 2017-2018 Catalog.
