Hey all, 

 

My name is Ricky, I have just started bass fishing this past month and am looking forward to a life-long hobby! I am from Southern California, in Ventura County and mainly fish around Westlake, Calif., but have a trip planned with my future father in law and brothers in law next weekend up to Big Bear for a couple days fishing on the lake! Looking forward to learning more and more!

    Fishing Westlake will spoil you!

    Big Bear the bass spawn should still be going on in the lower end check out Papoose bay, in the mid area Metcalf bay and Mallard lagoon.

    Thanks for the welcome everyone! I actually caught my first bass in about 15 years on Friday! Instantly hooked (pun intended) and can't wait to get out again!
