What does everyone think? I am leaning towards there is too much chartreuse but wanted other opinions.

My opinion? Color usually doesn’t matter that much.

Our fish like the chartreuse highlights in a jig because of the dirty water, I'd fish it. 

You only need two colors....black and green pumpkin.  Everything else is tackle company propaganda.

looks good. my green pumpkin jigs are all green pumpkin skirting, then if I feel I need some extra color. I'll take a spike it marker and mark a strand or two. 

Very nice! That looks like an appropriate amount of chartreuse for my lake.

Those are the two colors I use most often but have started to experiment the past few years. Adding some accent breaks up the one color solid silhouette of the bait.  Going to play around with some other colors once I can pour some more jigheads.

I prefer the chartreuse strands because it seems different then just dipping the ends of a trailer in chartreuse. just my opinion

New jig color to you. Keep in mind silicone skirt strips have been availble for decades and it would be nearly impossible to put together a "new" color skirt.

If you want to know if it works use it.

That would be great for smallmouth if the water gets alittle dingy or they if they arent jumping on a straight pumpkin jig. You guys are probably correct to an extent on black and green pumpkin but in my experience, where there are smallies you had better have some chartreuse in your arsenal.
